Let's just make Camaraderie an anti-camp perk

Change it's activation from when a survivor is within 16m to when a killer is within 20m for at least 9/8/7 seconds. Or make both activations work
A killer knows someone is going for the rescue when he sees the timer pause and hence instantly makes his way back so it can backfire a bit, but again not many killers play both sides to even know about this perk.
What do you think?

More survivor buff yaaaay.
Both sides' awful perks need buffs. I don't get why many people on this forum like to turn any thread into a survivor vs killer war jesus.
I mean if the killer intent is to camp I'd doubt more time isn't going to change much towards the survivor being camped.
It's only a buff if the killer plays like a scumbag. And I can't say I'm sad about campers having a harder time.
They could make it teleport you to a different hook if the killer stays in your area without other survivors, that's a more interesting effect.
I want a buff when survivors act scumbag then, and we all know survivors are way more toxic because they are the power role.
And like any anti-camp suggestions, this becomes really problematic in the end game where it basically guarantees the entire team is healed up, runs in with BT, and opens the 99ed gates before your meter even starts ticking down. At least with the current iteration SOMEONE has to be around in a dangerous position.
Yes, yes those poor defenseless killers. Nothing they can do in any situation. They're so oppressed by those big mean survivors.
It's ridiculous. I love suggesting things and trying to have discussions but you end up getting ridiculed for having a certain opinion on either side. You're either a filthy survivor main or a crying baby killer, you can't win. I play both sides but people always see it as "us vs them", it's not healthy.
The perk needs something. Currently, other survivors don't know I have it equipped, and wouldn't know how to make the best time of it even if they did. The only thing this perk does is warn the killer via the HUD that I'm about to be unhooked to bring about their swift return.
I think it would be fine if it just worked no matter what. You get an extra 30~ seconds to sit on the hook in second stage. That would actually make it worthy of a perk slot instead of being mostly a meme.
Not the worst idea I've heard.
I have a ideas
When you are unhooked from the struggle phase Camaraderie activates The next time you are hooked you won’t be sacrificed but will be on a 2nd struggle phase and, you will 20/25/30 on that hook. If you are on the 1st struggle phase and another survivor is in 34 meters the time pauses for 14/16/18 seconds.
This is was just a idea, so you can be hooked a third time and not die. Thoughts?
i actually like the idea.
it would still not be a meta perk, though that seems like a nice change i wouldnt mind seeing in the future.
Can killers get a perk that guarantees no SWF?
I just think borrowed time should be basekit, and it should give endurance even if the killer has undetectable. But yeah, camaraderie needs some love.
Just sounds like another salty killer main who got destroyed by good survivors and claims that what ever the survivors were using are op LOL
No.
If survivors are going to ######### and complain that "adding more time to gens would be boring", they don't get to ask for more time to be added to hook states.
The problem is that you're an entitled survivor like many others, who thinks the killer has to play like YOU want him to
I main killer....... I've posted several buffs to unreliable killer perks too before this.
You just proved my point about people who like to turn threads into an us vs them.
Ha haa!
It's both ways buddy, killers tell survivors how to play all the time.
Same with survivors and killers.
Jesus, the number of people that think like this is shameful
"Bad perk be made good? But perk for running men. Now running men be UNSTOPPABLE. Bad perk stay bad so no big power to running side"
They would rather trash perks stay trash and in effect KEEP the second chance meta
"Oh yeah? You want changes so this completely useless thing has some kind of use? Huh? Well guess what? How about I GET A BUFF FOR THIS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT THING? Huh? You like that? I bet you do!"
What got unplugged in your brain for you to be this defensive and jaded toward people who play the other faction in your video game? I've seen more whataboutism on this forum than I did in an actual political science class.
the idea as a whole sounds nice but if you combine it with sweaty SWFs it gets out of hand. Imagine having to hook 16 times just to get 4 kills
I think your brain is the one that got unplugged with that response.
More survivor buffs? Literally when is Survivor ever buffed? We've been nerfed every single patch for the last year.
it could stop your timer as long as the killer is within 16 meters and still no one will run it. it doesn't help unless you get to EGC and are getting camped or if the killer just decides to camp you. because you dont get camped every game it wont matter if this perk got the best buff to punish camping because it won't have a affect in most of your games.
edit: now if it could allow you to stun the killer for a save it would be a lot better but i doubt the dev's would do that as it could be very abused in coordinated teams.
Doesn't seem a bad idea.
Camaraderie is an absolute game changer, the only problem is that it only takes effect at the absolute top 0.1% of play.
Personally, I think it's fine where it is and needs no adjustments.
You want to punish killers for camping, which is only a strategy.
I never see killers who tell survivors how they want to play though. You want to genrush? Ok, np, but don't be surprised if I camp/tunnel/slug
