If we keep getting ignored, and don't get a proper answer soon maybe we should try some sort of organised attempt to get console players + pc sympathisers to stop buying auric cells. Flood the forums, the subreddit, the discord, playstation community groups and its equivalents, social media groups, the fog whisperers' streams, the dev streams, the inboxes of everyone we play with or against etc etc
It could just fail but maybe something to consider if nothing works.
I would actually like the consoles to finally be optimized. Some peoples PS4 sound like a jet engine from this game during loading screens or overheat easily. The colossal drop in frames is getting worse. Overall the game is slowly decaying on console.
The jet engine as game loads after intro is terrible.

In fact, it would be easier if we just started coding our DbD rip off, with black jake and hooked blendette.
I have never felt so ignored as with this game and its devs. The worst of all is that they promised to continue improving performance and the opposite happens, while now they don't even try to fix it.

Quick question to ask, how is everyone coping with PC players on much better frames?
I'm on PS4, even on my frames they spin so smoothly, it's been pretty hard to hit them. Ive barely missed any swings despite that tho.
Versed some really good nurses.
Having to insta DC on Lerys and having to restart app every 2 games (i play slinger, very frame reliant).
Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Console Player the wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Devs would tell you. It's a Dead by Daylight legend. Console Player was a valued customer of DBD, so powerful and so wise he could use the Frames to influence the M1's to create hits... He had such a knowledge of the frames that he could even keep the ones he cared about from stuttering. The console side of DBD is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He obtained so many 4k's... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his frames, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught the Devs everything he knew, then the Devs lowered his frames in his sleep. Ironic he could save others from fps drops, but not himself.
In my experience PC players don’t juke very well, or at the very least they turn more “smoothly”, however they gen rush as if their life depends on it and they loop extremely optimally. The gen rush is the real problem though, for me.

I found it impossible to kill with Crossplay on. The frame drops when I hit bloodlust or applied sloppy and the like were bad. Everything became worse on indoor maps, especially Lery's.
Was less of a problem with surv but I still felt it, with exposed and hook struggle death the most harmful.
So.... since Pyramid Head if a survivor comes within 5 feet of a killers POV and even so much as moves to the left or the right the fps will tank to about 3-5 fps per second
How can this happen?
Loading into Hawkins while playing as/against Doctor makes the game play like a slideshow, legit gave me a horrible headache so i had to dc
(gonna update this thread daily/weekly until we get more info on optimization)
As Hag I got Midwich yesterday...
Even being one of her best maps it was stressful because of the stuttering gameplay.. Not even the 4k made me happy.
Played this one match and closed the game because I didn't want to suffer from that again.
A little feedback from the devs would be appreciated....

It is exactly the same answer. I highlighted in bold the only difference: in my case, the agent replied that the team "has been made aware", while in your case it is "they are aware".
So what we get from this is that they get a lot of complains about fps, so much so that they just use a template (1), and that they changed the template recently (2).
I really can't say if this is encouraging or not. I mean, we already knew Devs have been made aware and that they hope for an upcoming patch to fix the issue. Maybe next template won't have "they hope" but "they are praying the Aztec Gods for a fix", I dunno.
So it's just copy and paste response... Well this is disappointing.

We need some kind of solution, this is atrocious at this point.
I mained nurse but stopped playing her because of framerates and sens.. i started to main Demo, now i can't play him because of fps, then i tried out slinger and it was really fun but now i can't even play him anymore at full potential... i mean every mechanical skills Killer get butchered by low framerates... looks like behavior want us to play only doc and freddy lol... seriously we never get a proper answer by them only excuses.. Post where we explain every problem with framerates? ignored. Post where we say fps bad? Oh SaYiNg FpS BaD dOeSn'T hElP US!!1.. bruh
