I mean I've literally only ever seen "PC players bad" posts but okay
That's why I'm not really on board with he mods but gay myers isnt bad.
Okay but here's the problem. I never talked about or brought up the fact that bumping should not be a thing that comes with consequences. What I was talking about is how when you gave the warning, it only took one more guy to do it for you just to close the thread, after one more guy did it. Also do you realize and understand how bad you're making yourself look by saying "I also didn't need to give a warning I could have just instantly closed the thread"? Do you realize how badly it just looks like in general for game forms? Does that not sound like in the slightest to you like a dictator?
Yes there might have been a quite a few pages with people just bumping up the thread, but do you ever take in to consideration to question why? Or do you just blindly skim through it and think to yourself "this is giving me enough reason to close the thread"? No? Heres why: When that thread was created, it was only after a couple of pages is when a dev or a moderator from the team finally decided to comment on it, but didn't give us a real answer or information that we wanted. Then after a month later, after so many pages, not once after those 2 responses, did we get another response updating on our problem. I even gave an example like this on my previous reply to you, stating that when a community showcases a problem within the developer's game, but the developers ignore it or don't give real information on for so long, the community doesn't know what else to do other than just to do whatever they can to make said problem that they're talking about, and one of those tactics is to keep said thread or comment bump up.
And also no, you were quite literally the only moderator on that thread to give the warning.
Regarding to your statement on about what I said about "ghostly deleting comments" I don't know why you're thinking that I said that you need to dm every person that you deleted their comment, what I actually was saying is that, you didn't put information into your warning that you have previously deleted comments there were against the rules, and that cause a lot of conflicting problems.
If it was just an advice more than anything, then it still stands to what I said earlier, our advice to your team and fixing your game.
I'm not sure if you have realized this, but more than half of this thread is uncivil, and if you didn't know this either, the previous thread was completely civil. And here you are wondering why we are not civil anymore including me, you're really wondering why we aren't civil anymore? That's because everybody in that previous thread was on their last bit of string, a very thin string of patience, trying all of our best to be friendly as we can, but after what you've done, what reason is there now to still continue to be civil about this? And it's not a simple answer, it really isn't.
"We don't need to give a warning about closing a thread, that's a decision we make" Again that sounds like a very dictator thing to do. Yes you choose to give that warning with regards to it but with a very broad regards to it that made that warning portrayed in a very different way.
If you happen to know how much your team listens and how much your team receives information, then why don't you share that with us? Why don't you share that information with us? Or is that just another lie? And also I never did specifically target you as a liar, I said in general that behavior is a liar, and that is not incorrect if the point still stands of behavior telling us that we would get a console optimization by the end of 2018, but we were never given that and not even 2 years later after that.
You and just behavior in general, which is including you, has mislead/lied to us on a lot of things, even now.
So I guess my last question is: What reason is their to be civil about after what you've done?
What if we removed the crossplay icon and we had no idea?
Mandy sweetie ily and I know you're just doing your job but theres a moral discussion at this point on whether it was even okay to close it. It should've just been 'accidentally ignored' because this issue is making the game and even killers literally unplayable and has been for YEARS it needs to be addressed NOW
This.
And @MandyTalk, I am sure you are a wonderful person to be with, but can we agree that it sucks that Behavior has put you into this position? If it is indeed the reason why you did what you did?
As I view it now, I see this as an example of the faults of the people at the top than the Devs + Mods. I see this action as you being pressured to sweep it under the rug so that it quashes the complaints, and you are now receiving the fallout.
Correct me if I am wrong, but that is how I see it.
That doesn't explain the ludicrously high ban rate on the forums, but it does explain why bug fixes are never prioritized compared to new chapters.
We're gonna have this exact same thread in 2 years when dbd runs like a PowerPoint presentation on the latest consoles.
Hey everyone, @Pulsar asked a great question in the Q&A section about console optimization with the graphical update here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/187979/console-optimization-with-the-graphical-update#latest
Please head over to that post and let's get our voices heard!
I've said it before and this proves it more and more.
This company is starting to look more and more like zipper interactive.
A game who said they listen to the community, yet they did their own thing and what was better for them.
Instead of actually listening to the community, which eventually led to to closing of the company.
A lot of promises but nothing done.
Sure Sony had a little blame in it too, but when you as a company keep ignoring your community, this will lead to people being fed up with all the shallow promises and leave the franchise.
They even banned people from forums too who had a to loud voice for them and brought the problems to the attention.
Like I said, it sounds very familiar with what is happening here with bhvr.
Thank you kindly for that link we need to be proactive in up voting please!!
Remain polite respectful and stick to the rules of the forum.
Let us hope for an answer regarding our issue.

Thats why their balance arguament of wanted "parity" between all versions is laughable when they're refusing to support KB+M on console versions and leaving it in its current state.
Even that wouldn't solve anything as some players can't get that for their console, still creating a divide.
It is hard. By apologizing they're confirming the fact that they know they pushed out their game to a platform where it wasn't optimized for. DbD on consoles have been garbage every since it arrived there.
The reason I noticed people were bumping the thread wasn't because they were trying to inflate it, though some might've. The ones I saw were concerned players who've been stuck with this abysmal FPS for years. BHVR promised them improved frames and it didn't happen. At the end of the day, this is an extremely relevant topic.
I understand if you wanted to stop the bumps, but the better thing to do would have been to pin the thread since it's a popular discussion that more then deserves a proper update. There wouldn't have been any need to bump the thread if the issue was addressed in the first place but if you guys didn't have an immediate answer then it would have been a better move to keep it at the top. Not only does this show the community that their issue is a priority and that you believe it deserves attention, it helps ensure a dev would see it.
I'm sorry, but closing that thread and warning not to make others was not a good decision.
Thank you! The more respectful voices we have, the better!
It's a post on a forum dude not a 500 man protest at their company hq.
Do you feel sufficiently big now that you've demonstrated how aloof you are?
Good I hope you can ride that feeling into a good weekend <3
100% on what you said. I don't know why BHVR keeps questioning why the console community is acting the way we are acting, when, they are the sole reason why we are acting like this.
Instead of being dishonest why not just be honest. BHVR is having you take the fall and eat a lot of these complaints it's not good.
I feel like there's a specific meme that fits this... 😂
