Punishing survivors because for being slugged

if a survivor bleeds to death the survivor should be given an escape. it's not the survivor's fault the killer got too greedy and lost someone.

Nah, not really. A speed up when nobody is able to rescue anymore or an instant bleed-out (similar to the instant Sacrifice) when nobody can pick them up anymore would be suitable. But an escape, not at all.

Some Survivors even crawl away so that the Killer cannot find them. Either just to annoy them or to have a better chance to be healed up.

To be honest it should be the opposite where a mechanic should be in play where that dying bleeding out survivor on the ground just instantly bleeds out to deny bloodpoints if they don't have a key in hand or any way to stand back up (stuck between 0~95% recovery for X amount of time) and the hatch is closed on them with all exit gates closed.

I've personally crawled into the hatches more than once after being slugged and lost in that scenario you listed above (but that's entirely on the killer at that point for greeding) but it's admittedly a waste of time once all "hope" is lost (Even for Lore implications beyond the gameplay) and your Unbreakable is already expended or not equipped. Either the Killer is just watching you bleedout for a few minutes out of spite, honestly can't find you do to dying iron will bugs, or the survivor has hidden very well somewhere on a large map... it's a waste of time if there is no sliver of chance of an actual escape.

Counting it as an "escape" would be a bit of a leap in logic

in that case survivors should just instantly die the first time they're put into dying. if a survivor can crawl so far away that a killer's can't find them, it's 1000% because the killer was greedy instead of securing a hook. killers shouldn't be slugging down all 4 survivors at 4 gens remaining anyways, yet you people will defend that but cry any time survivors rush gens

if you manage to sit on the ground for 4 minutes and the killer never picks you up and hooks you, you shouldn't be rewarding the killer AND punishing the survivor. Basic logic here. Any killer with more than 20 hours can find a survivor they've downed, if a survivor manages to crawl away it it entirely the fault of the killer.

I guarantee I've bene playing killer and survivor longer than any of the shitposters on this thread, especially you. But you get reddit killer mains with ~200 hours coming in constantly to these forums putting out stupid opinions just because they've been inconvenienced one time. on the other hand, I have over 2000 hours in this game, and my opinions come from my own experience gameplay on both sides. I take overall game mechanics, culture, and player feedback into consideration, you do nothing but watch streamers getting bullied by SWF squads and think you know the game.

    Because being forced to sit on the ground for 4 minutes and do nothing is perfectly balanced and survivor is very easily and killer is too hard and needs to be buffed ;;_;;

I agree with the heart of this post. I don’t know about a free escape, but that’s not totally unreasonable. I think they should be able to get off the ground before bleeding out into the injured state. Sitting there watching YouTube for 4 minutes so the killer can yank their ego is ridiculous.

Why? Why, after DYING as a SURVIVOR should you have "won"? Because you wanted the personal victory of wasting 3-4 minutes of everyone's time bleeding to death?

@FlamingkittyUmad It's not really rewarding the killer because they're losing that potential emblem/bloodpoints that he was actively greeding for by not being able to hook you at all. As long as there is a remote chance that you can still escape - there wouldn't be a instant bleed out since you can still be making every effort to "escape" - not crawling into a remote corner of Crotus Penn behind a rock in spite towards the killer yourself. Sort of that whole Will to Survive thing that real-world Special Forces preach in their handbooks.

Conversely, I would concede that something like a non-emblem tied bloodpoint event for time spent slugged would be nice for the survivors left in this type of situation along with an increase in bloodpoints tied to struggling on the hook instead of instantly suiciding on phase 2 denying their teammates (Though reworking the current struggle phase as a whole is a different can of worms for a different topic).

I once had a Yui disconnect to give me hatch because she didn't want to lay on the ground for 3 minutes. I healed her once or twice off the ground before that but it's ridiculous how killers slug for the 4k so much because their ego would be hurt otherwise.

That's not the first stranger I've had disconnect to give me hatch - True heroes.

If you don't want to die on the floor stop moving so you get the crows and the killer can find you, hook you and you get out of the match faster. Or you know, just don't crawl a 100 kilometers into Claudette's butthole to hide just to spite the killer.

They should give survivors ability to speed up bleed out when left on ground for a certain amount of time. Can speed up hook time, should be able to speed up bleed out as well. I've run into alot of killers that from start of the game knock everyone down to slug them all until they bleed out. Doesn't matter if they get 3 crows circling them to notify killer of location. Killers know they won't get punished and are encouraged to slug like with the buff to Knock Out.

No..slugging is said by Devs to be part of Killer arsenal. They are allowed to leave us in the grass to bleed out. And therefore allowed the kill.

I'm 90% confident this was written after you bled to death on the ground.

Especially me? Nah man. Its not like I have 1500 combined hours on console and PC. You have no idea what youre talking about. Youre an internet troll who gained mild noterity from an Ardetha video, and seem to be trying to reclaim your lost clout with bait posts and salt.
