Thana probably shouldn't work on totems.

So I saw the numbers today that 4 stacks of thana + thrill of the hunt = 26 seconds or so uninterrupted to cleanse a totem.
Ruin and Undying is the meta now, throw in a problematic killer like Legion who can quickly and easily get those multiple stacks of thana and then between the aura reading from undying and notifications from thrill any killer can potentially defend those totems.
Not to mention if you make it to 20+ seconds and get chased off the entire progress is gone.
I just feel it's a little too strong for totem defense. With this build as well you could spend 26 seconds cleansing a totem just for it to come back due to Undying and require another 20+ seconds uninterrupted to be cleansed. When Ruin is so common now as well then unless you find ways to get 20+ seconds of uninterrupted time on a totem against a killer who is getting live notifications of cleansing attempts then you have a strong "always-on" effect like Ruin left in the game.
Perhaps it's a little too much.

No it's fine. You can just heal against Thana now, easy counterplay. Undying and TOTH also just occupy perk slots, would you rather like killers to run NOED because the gens went too quick on highest level?
Yeah no if I go against a legion with this build im not gonna be mashing space when im on the hook.
to be fair, cleansing the dull totems first is the main way to counter TotH in the first place, which also helps since it reduces the potential for ruin to "jump" since there is nothing to jump to.
It's still just "do bones" business as usual, but this time the killer only has 1 perk after they're gone instead of 2.
it was previously yeah but now with undying and new thana those dulls still take a long time and you'll have your aura exposed.
Just more split pressure. Technically you could even use it to bait the killer away from something since you know they'll know you're there. Just work on it for a second or two then move away. Either they will be abandon their pressure to come after you and not catch you, or they'll have to start ignoring it. Using Spine Chill makes it even safer.
I agree that it could be bad for the survivors, but it could also be bad for the killer. And since they're sacrificing their loadout for it, that makes it even worse.
You do know you're probably going to have to cleanse totems anyway.
With the killer using three hexes that means there's only two dull totems that really need to be cleansed to stop Undying from switching anything.
More totems you cleanse the faster it gets keep in mind that once you got rid of the dulls and start tackling the hexes Undying becomes virtually useless.
Lastly as nice of an idea as it is playing extreme amounts of totem defence can be detrimental especially if you just have people who decide to power through gens whilst that's going on.
Thana, Thrill, Ruin, Sloppy is also a stronger option now for this idea, possibly better depending on the killer.
How about adapting and start to counterplay like Russian Roulette Spirit was countered? Sit on a hex totem for 6 seconds to make sure the aura is gone and leave. Pulls the killer away and you are long gone before he arrives, buying others much time to work on gens to push through Ruin
