So what? Demo is a monster and GF is a stealth killer. They shouldn't have the same cues.
Sure, thematically it makes sense, but sometimes you have to sacrifice that for balance. Demogorgon's power isn't near strong enough to warrant constant mapwide awareness for every survivor.
Demo has them for literally anything. Hearing it roar every 5 seconds actually makes me feel SAFE to go and do stuff because I know that it ISN'T NEAR ME.
Yes, a large portion of Killers have an audiovisual audio cue detectable by all Survivors when certain points of their power are put into play. Some of them don't, a la Blight.
Demogorgon, on the other hand, has a map-wide sound signal for literally everything except placing down a portal, even if it's completely irrelevant to his power. Swinging? Interacting with a pallet, gen, locker, or other objects in the environment? Stunned? All of those have global audio stingers.
with demogorgon if your camera isn't on him or you don't see him charge up his shred its not really reactable since the audio starts after its charged so you have 0.2-0.4ish seconds to react.
just wanted to throw this out there
So have your camera on him.
Did he break line of sight? Time to predict.
Nurses screech is not global. Impressive range, but not global.
Ha well at least he helps out solos
Plague and Pig are dead giveaways due to the Jigsaw Boxes and Pools of devotion scattered throughout the realm.
The sound of PH’s blade from across the map is a sure tell that it’s him.
Also, you’re the only one I’ve seen counter the “noisy Demo” argument, so well done.
I mean there are more factors than that but yeah pretty much. in some situations there isn't a way to avoid it and i call those shred zones or the demo can just hold it until you go to the spot he's aiming and if you trial off it he m1's you.
a lot of people underestimate shred and when more don't know how to use it to its fullest, even im still learning it but i'll admit that even if you become a pro at shreding it doesn't make him better than viable killers at most it just makes him barely viable.
