So BHVR, mind taking notes?

I saw many complaint about the new update for console from ps4 to Switch, I do not know if you really think you can keep the updates up with console compared to Pc, do you know what optimization is? Would be nice if you did optimize the game, I could run Doom Eternal with my few extra Gb left and run it better than DbD, you ain't getting my money no more until optimization comes and you (let's hope so) announce crossprogression for Xbox and Ps4

The only reason why DbD is on console is because BHVR saw a perfect way to get more money. If they cared for them, there would have been a huge focus on console optimization.. which there haven't.
Yep.
More evidence: The battlepass. Players who buy the game on the next-gen consoles are not able to get the items, unless they have a time machine. If they cared about those consoles they would remove the time constraint of the battlepass, let players buy and progress them whenever they want.
Another example is ironically the Graphics update. Its nothing anyone anywhere asked for. What was asked for was optimization, bug fixing and an improvement of the matchmaking system. BHVR's priorities are totally out of whack.
For starters: Compare MP to other MP games, not SP to MP. One is more GPU sided, the other is more CPU heavy.
Wanna compare Mp game to MP, aight, Black Ops 4 and Dbd... Bo4 takes 96Gb (I have every dlc) even Warzone (which is over 100Gb) runs better, except for yesterday since everyone was on because of Halloween event
There isn't even anything that difficult to render in the game, I guess the character models are just so detailed but what about Midwich elementary school that's indoor map and should be really easy to optimize yet it runs very badly compared to all the other maps, somehow. At least they fixed outfit lag spikes like equipping the Spirit's kimono but things like spamming items in lobby still lag the hell out of your game.
For starters: Disc space has absolutely ZERO to do with performance.
I could make a whole "for starters" series, but i have no time for that.
They gave you a comparison and you decided to ignore it. I'll give another one.
Battlefield manages to have 64 players in a game with massively scaled wars that still don't manage to cause noticeable framerate dips, even back on older consoles like the 360.
Need anymore?
For starters: Battlefield is running on Frostbite Engine which has been developed inhouse, fitting to what it need's to do. Epic games is getting better, but has just started to optimize their engine for open world scenarios.
I am not ignoring anything, nor do i say that DBD is at it's limits with optimization. Porting games onto different platforms can take a great deal of effort in coding and every platform is and works different. They will sort out the issues eventually.
The Unreal Engine is by far one of the most optimized and amazing engines on the market.
DbD is also not an open world game, not even close. Again, you asked for a comparison and you're strawmanning stuff that doesn't really pertain to the issue.
Not to mention, if you wanna go the open world route, Fortnite has a massive map, 100 players, and often times similar large scale combat in modes like 50v50 even 2 years ago and runs with basically 0 problems even on console, and can handle huge large scale events like concerts and trippy visuals all with little to no actual impact on the performance of the game.
So again, no excuses really.
Omg, yes! I couldn't care less about those graphics, give me a game that doesn't let my pc go into space or burn itself.
