Legion is a lot stronger than people give credit for

Like I know where they fall flat in some aspects in terms of overall strength but legion is a lot a better than some people think.

Being able to get free hit and injure multiple survivors and stall the game for quite a while especially with some good add ons like iri button, legion pin, cold dirt just to name a few. On top of ignoring a survivors defense with vaulting over pallets and still getting a free hit.

Like yeah the stun and what not sucks but yall need to realize legion can be very good and can be quite annoying to deal with, they have some strengths that yall need to stop ignoring

Well, if the kill rates are anything to go off, then yeah. Legion is flat out better than everyone thinks.

They're also fantastic for BP gain and rank.

Legion is good. He just need addons rework, maybe a small speed increase on frenzy, and some QoL like seing scratch marks

He's good against new or inexperienced players but gets stomped by high levels. He needs a buff and newer people need to do a little research instead of complaining. Because lets be real. All but the simplest of killers are really strong against newbies.

    I agree and disagree.

Legion is a weak killer, but I think people exaggerate it. this is likely a remnant of Intermediate Legion who was fresh after the nerfs given to Old Legion who was... pathetically weak.

He has the ability to get the 1st hit guaranteed. This essentially makes Legion an insta-down killer like Infinite T3 Myers, which while good, is not enough. Luckily, while Frenzy has no lethality, once Legion gets one hit, he becomes one of the best tracker in the game and is able to locate anyone with a 40m radius.

Because of Deep Wound, survivors need to get off gens for at least 12 seconds before they bleed out. It's a useful tool for stalling for a few moments while you, as a Legion, commit to chasing one survivor. It's nice for keeping map pressure, something that is nothing to scoff at.

Of course, he still has the weakness of survivors splitting up and slamming gens... but every killer has that. This is why some Legions don't run Corrupt—it stops survivors from spreading out in the early game, so there's a higher chance for a Frenzy chain. Plus, it's rare that survivors are not within 40m of each other, even accidentally.

There's also the weakness that his chase potential is almost nonexistent, but hey, we saw what happened when Frenzy was lethal...

Honestly, yeah, Legion isn't as bad as people want to think. Sure, they're a basic m1 killer - that quickly injures people and slows down the trial because of both the mending and the disparity between a rapid injure and heal. And their biggest counterplay? Name 1 killer that splitting up, not healing, and doing gens DOESNT work wonders against. Sure, an amazing survivor can toy with you, but that can be said about nearly every killer as well.

Edit: Plus, they have an amazing early game.

Against the average survivors you don't need a power to win. And seeing as Legion literally have no power in a chase...they could be seen as stronger than they are...but no lol Legion is still the worst killer in the game, which doesn't mean much but he's still by far the worst imo. Idk how people can enjoy playing him either he's sooooo dull and boring to play as

I would agree that Legion is a little bit underrated, but still one of the worst Killers. The problem with Legion is that he is a complete design failure. Like, if you ask someone why they play Legion, they either say because they are cool or because they want to stab people. Like Legion go brrrr.

But his power is simply bad designed. Because of his power, he will never be a strong Killer like Blight, Hag or Pyramid Head. You would need to take away the ability to vault windows and Pallets to actually make it possible that he is a strong Killer, but this would probably get a lot of negative feedback. IMO a Killer who vaults Pallets or Windows is pretty cool, but it already makes it that they cannot be strong.

The first version of Legion was more lethal with his ability, and you saw what happened. Aside from exploiting his power, he was still one of the weakest Killers, because he was able to down one Survivor guaranteed while losing the game because of the poor Map Pressure he had.

That’s the point of FF. It forces survivors that would otherwise not heal to be mending instead. I.e. survivors avoiding healing to save time are forced to waste time doing a healing type action anyway.

    No he is not.

Killers that do not compete with SWF fall out of the meta.

Yeah insanly overrated. It's so intergrated that they are the worst that even the precious streamers oppinion doesn't matter.

Legion is simple, if you are good at chasing Legion pretty good. Not amazing or anything but able to win against all but the swf death squad.

If you get looped for 3 gens everytime you try to get a survivor with an m1 then Legion will be terrible but that's not Legions fault.

A person that has a good M1 game can dominate with legion as they become infinite tier 3 myers at a quarter of the time it takes myers

If we assume nurse is S tier cause we only see the god nurses then we can't put Legion on the bottom and only see the legions that spend a minute on one loop.

Lots of people really hate the tediousness of playing against legion and hook suicide/dc.

I think the one aspect of Legion that is a little underrated is their ability to use Frenzy for map traversal in a pinch. It’s not as consistent as Blight or Billy’s map traversal but it’s still better than just walking if you really, really need to get to a particular spot that’s within a 10 second sprint. For comparison to Blight, the downsides are

    • It has a longer cooldown
    • Legion’s sprint is more maneuverable, which is good in a chase, but is slower which makes it a bit weaker for long distance travel
    • Legion’s fatigue when the Frenzy ends is a bit longer than Blight’s.

If you crunch the numbers, in fact, Legion’s fatigue after a Frenzy wipes out the movement speed bonus if they are trying to travel a really, really long distance (more than a single Frenzy sprint burst which I think is about 65 meters). So really its sweet spot for traversal is up to about 40-60 meters, about half the length of the map, followed hopefully by a quick Deep Wound when you get there.

Of course if everybody is already injured then, when you get where you’re going, you’ll end up probably either cancelling your ability and starting a chase possibly doing a Deep Wound on an injured survivor first just to give them a reason not to do the gens while you are recovering from Frenzy fatigue. But again, it’s still better to get there quickly and pressure survivors off a gen right away then walking.

On the overall Legion is in that average bucket of killers who are good enough to win if you can outplay the survivors but who don’t have a large margin for error when survivors are playing well. Not trash but also not top tier.
