Why are even small edits like changing 1 character have to be approved? It takes too long and breaks the communication process on the forum.

I think I have read this is only for new forum members. Once you have like 100 posts or something, edits will be immediately there.
100 posts? Sounds like an overkill.
It is to ensure that spam accounts do not post a normal comment and then edit it later with spam content.
So, how many posts do you need to be able to make edits without approval? I have over 100 posts and my second post edit (just corrected a single character) needs an approval again. Very annoying.
It might take some time, please be patient.
