Thankyou for removing bloodlust, i cant wait!

Cant wait to completely destroy all 110% and even 115% killers at certain loops, i know you want to help less experienced survivors but god damn youre making this so easy for survivors like me that know how to loop and timings/distances killers must be to vault pallets safely. All youre doing is allowing bad survivors to maybe do better which really dont belong in red ranks anyway while hurting every un-experienced killer. YOU NEED TO REMEMBER NEW KILLERS EXIST! seriously no wonder so many people avoid that role and get annoyed at playing it. I guess undying will be removed next? people dont like totems...

The maps have been changed a lot over the past few years a lot of pallets now are unsafe compared to how they were when bloodlust was needed in the game, so to see the effect on the game that bloodlust has right now, it needs to be disabled so the data can be analysed.
But as I said, this is just a test.
Just remove it, it helps weak killers
Or people are just gonna play the high mobility killers more?
Really all this test is gonna show is that around 50% of the killer roster needs Bloodlust to assist in the chase to give them a chance (i.e Trapper, Pig, Oni, Legion, Plague, Demogorgon, in a manner Michael, Ghostface, etc) while the other 50% can carry themselves (I.E Nurse, Billy, Blight, etc)

We would like to stress that this experiment is purely to gather data: No future plans for Bloodlust are set in stone at this time.
Dev do this change because don't play DbD at hight rank. If their play vs SWF Rank 1 that have more of 1k of hours their will understand how game is unbalanced.
simple as its a test that isnt needed. if you have lead on a chase long enough for bloodlust to kick in before the killer gets a hit then well you have clearly done your job, and some loops have changed in the sense sure but some will still be so strong even more so after you add in spine chill and resilience. im just saying all youre doing is killing newer and less experienced killers so survivors stop moaning "i was chased this long and only went down to bloodlust how unfair"...

The best should win! A killer shouldn't get a kill because of a mechanic.

Maybe a game like DBD shouldn't be balanced around the top 1% of the playerbase? I bet the vast majority of DBD players cycle on and off, like me, and never get insanely skilled. Yeah, some people exist that no-life DBD and try so hard to coordinate with 4 man SWFs. But that's such a minority. I bet the majority of their players barely know what they're doing and get discouraged easily enough to leave; If they game can be made more enjoyable and less sweaty, that's a big win for mostly everyone.
its a single hit. why should a killer lose because of a swf? not like they get multiple perks worth of info just by being in a party is it? oh wait they do.
Point is again its only helping toxic and bad survivors who moan about everything. funny enough iv been rank 1 for 4 year sand never minded bloodlust, even with the updated maps and loops so explain why bloodlust is a huge issue when the only reason killers actual win is because of bad survivors whho dont touch gens or have 0 knowledge of loops?

Use the event add-on for survivors, its so dumb when its a 110% like hag cause now she will take so much longer to catch up
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to this weekend either. One of the most boring, braindead strategies (running straight) just got temporarily buffed.
The only thing BL does is reduce the amount of time a survivor can chain windows together constantly which is far more powerful than a one time pallet drop. I get this is only an experiment but it is a short sighted one. Until there is something in place to prevent abusable tiles being spawned next to one another then BL is a required mechanic in the game. Even after these map redos I have still see the fun-bus spawn facing a long wall which was facing another long wall, these three window chains made it legit impossible to catch the survivor without BL because you end up dropping chase and the window never gets blocked.
I agree that bloodlust tier 2 or 3 should be removed. But please never remove BL tier 1. It is needed on maps like Haddonfield because of the infinite fences, and also because of the RNG that puts a jungle gym next to the shack.
The entity blocking a windows after 3 survivor vaults is a mechanic. The survivor throwing a pallet is a mechanic. Moving faster than the survivor is a mechanic. Etc.
Bloodlust was a mechanic to give Killers a stacking boost to help prevent a chase for going too long even if the survivors still had resources that they would otherwise be able to use to extend the chase.
You'll still win/lose chases through the use of mechanics. Just not this one for this weekend.
So we should remove hatch, a survivor shouldn't get an escape because of a mechanic, yes?

That's the point. To help new killers who can't loop properly against survivors with hundreds of hours who will destroy them. Maybe that's not what it was originally for but now that's its purpose and it helps new killers.
The game is still survivor favored and yet we're testing making killers weaker. Ouch.
Why not test something else like less pallets, or disabling DS, disable keys and mori's. You know something people have been asking for, not bloodlust which is very low on the priority list for most people if its even on it.
Hell yeah, we should also remove pallet breaking, just imagine creating dead-zones so survivor have nothing to loop you?
Yeah because no one really likes playing for hatch and it just undermines the whole match.
Either escape by the gens or die, that should be it really. Your team did bad? Ok try again next time.
There's so many actual problems in the game they could be testing (Gen times, DS, Spirit/Freddy, Mori's, Keys, map offerings, pallets, hatch, ect.), but they chose this one...
you missed my sarcasm, but i didn't out right say sarcasm in the post.... I can see how you'd miss it.
Then all the more reason to carry out the test rather than allowing anecdotes to carry the narritive.
Not going to happen I'm afraid, being here is my job - carrying this information is part of that job as is explaining why we're doing this experiment.
