EVENT Biased

YOu guys talk about balance but still fail to see it. I have never seen a more biased event across my gaming years. Just sad. That is all

Ok... So you state it's biased, but don't go into details of HOW...

Favors one side more than the other without being very well balanced between killer and survivor. Its obvious.

Furthermore all survivors have to do to keep the killer from being able to reach his event hooks is to stay on the opposite side of the map so it's entirely possible that the survivors can get all of their nectar but the Killer is left without.

I will say that I don't think it's fair that Killers can get the extra blood points even if their vials are full but survivors cannot.

When any survivor collects nectar all other get extra blood points. So you get them even when vial is full.

U can't harvest once you get to 30 vials, its a massive bug and because of this killer is more favoured.

once everyone has 30 vials, none of you will get extra bloodpoints

I wasn't gonna go there, I was just being in basic terms but this hit it dead on.

lol my problem is I prestige'd a character.. now i have 20+ petals... but have 30 serum. Every game ive played there was 2-3 plants left bc no one could fully drain them. No one could find Ruin. 4k with 5 gens left. Typical survivor game at rank 4.I'm not even going to talk about suiciders and dcers who get their serum and bail.

This post is a prime example of killer mains who haven't played survivor during this event. The only problem killer's have here is the long Queue time. Killer's can't lose progress from "dying" or getting hooked and before you can get unhooked everyone has drained every last plant. Killers can damn near cross-map most maps if you have IG/AG equipped

    Killers can't lose progress
Killers can't get hooked before they can drain a plant
    only long Queue times

Dude, these queue times easily last as long as two complete survivor games including their queue time. And bad killers who fail to catch any of those toxic SWF swat teams don't get any serum at all! All a survivor has to do is run around the map, hold M1 when he finds a plant, get killed and repeat.

How could I not like that many survivors did not plan to escape at all, they only collected nectar and then died and moved on next game. :(It would be great if these plants were spawned after each repair of the generator, it would be much better. All my teammates died without repairing the generators. Because the goal of their game was to collect nectar, but not to survive :'(

So the survivor just had to hold M1 and suicide, that means you're guaranteed to get 4 hooks per match. Now since it takes 6 hooks to get 1 vial that means for every 3 games you get 2 vials done. So if everyone is just suiciding to you that means it shouldn't take you long at all.

ok couple things need to be said here, the event is not biased due to this giving out info that every year the entity enters a surge, this is the hallowed blight event, so how, HOW is this event biased

  • KongerekeKongereke Member Posts: 10

How this event is biased !? Oh i'll tell you how:
So okay survivors has one extra objective that's fine i guess. The killer has more time to kill them. Which results in more hooks and easier game for the killer.

The killer can keep farming bloodpoints and the hooks after he has filled up his vial. He gets 5,5k per Event hook. Whereas survivors gets 4k per blossom fully charged. keep in mind that if u play with 3 people that has maxed already you only get 8k in total since u cannot fully finish the last flower. This results in noone playing survivor. Because it's just not efficent for bloodpoints. Which then results in long killer queues because everyone is playing killer because they want the vials and it's also about 3 times as efficent for bloodpoints farming.

If there is anyone in the game that hasn't collected flowers yet they will do that instead of gens. If you want to play with your friends you shoot yourself in the foot because all your friends is maxed and you cannot even participate in the event anymore. which results in you not throwing in an offering which results in killer needing more games. which again then results in more people playing killer over a longer period of time which makes the killer lobbies take forever. and people get more and more increasingly frustrated and stops playing entirely.

So in a matter of 2 weeks the population of this game is going to rapidly decay because of some easy fixes to this event and yet they haven't been done which seems OUTRAGEOUS to me. All i want is for this game to be played so that i can play it and have fun with it. So i guess i'll see you in the fog in about 7 days now. Thank I'm OUT! GG BHVR

I'll just play Civilization. Heard it's a good game.

I don't see what all the complaints are about. Already finished with the survivor vials, which were so much easier than hooking. Its not the killers fault that survivors bail as soon as they get theirs, but I stay for bp.  Also, are you really getting upset that killers have more time? That has nothing to do with getting caught, that's poor stealth and recklessness. Don't blame the other side if your team wants to give up and not play intelligently. Killers have been pretty fair for most of my games, the exception being some low level scummy plays.
