See, this killer beat them with a much worse killer and a much less sweaty build
A very good Blight is much better than freddy in this kind of scenario.
Also, that blight wasn't using a weak setup either with an ebony mori (no idea if it's pre nerf or after),pretty much blight strongest addon combo, and decent perks.
This Freddy did waste a lot of time scattering bloody puddles everywhere instead of quickly rushing to a gen and then the Claudette outplayed at the beginning wasting a lot of time. An honest misread on the killer's part, just saying if the killer got the first down quicker I bet the game would have ended a lot differently with 1 or 2 kills at least.
I don't envy the devs in trying to balance an asymmetrical game because you can't fix these extremes without ruining the game for everyone else. It's both unfair that a SWF can coordinate a genrush so perfectly and at the same also unfair that a good killer with OP perks and addons can decimate every team except the one we saw here. Both sides can be overpowered, but it is easier to be overpowered on the killer side because you are only one person.
So you got this 1 game with a 4men swf all with toolboxes with BNP. So? It's like me complaining about a Tombstone Myers because I saw one in a blue moon.
These aren't that common, at all. Are they an issue? Yea. But it's still really rare.
hahaha thanks brother, this is the clearest example that devs should nerf Freddy and ruin + immortal. You didn't do good pressure. Freddy can be on 5 generators at once.
Sorry man, This is Undying + Ruin a lot they say this goal is boring. Every day I can see a comment that is a very strong build with Freddy but this is not true, only baby works, they will say yes
I'm 100% sure that this game was incredibly hard to play as and i deeply respect good blight players (you can tell that already by the 1 person asking how you did the 180 during a dash).
I just wanted to correct the person saying you won even though you were using a much weaker killer and setup than OP.
Normal or not, it's mechanically broken. Their loadout shouldn't be a possibility between 4 survivors. Four survivors with green toolboxes, BNP, three Proves, and 4 Built to Last is fundamentally broken. It's a joke. You don't have balance when the only thing standing between OP's example and a normal game is essentially an honor system.
So much of the frustration players feel stems from the fact that the devs give each side so many tools to screw over the other players with little recourse unless you anticipate it. It's a ranked pvp game with Uno mechanics. Why?
Dude they don't care, I was warned about that, and was specifically told they don't care about your intention. the fact something COULD happen is what they're preventing,. All I did was say look at these crazy builds i'm up against as someone new to killer and still got a warning. I strongly recommend that you cover those names.
So, the main counterargument to this video seems to be "Yes, this game was impossible for the killer with 4,300 hours to win, and yes, that is bonkers that the gens went so fast, but this kind of death squad only appears once every leap year. Since it's such a rare situation, nothing needs adjusted"
Ok... I think that's missing the point. How many red rank matches occur with killers weaker than freddy, where the gens are done in 4/5/6 minutes, regardless of how many slowdown perks are brought in? I think any red rank killer could start recording matches and show you, at minimum, 10 cases of this per week. 2 and a half minutes is rare. 5 is pretty commonplace, particularly with weaker killers. Go play Wraith/Clown/Demo at rank 1 if you don't believe me
I think the point here is that, in a perfect world, a skilled survivor squad going against an equally skilled killer would result in a 2k. If the killer is more skilled, the game ends in 3-4k. If the survivors are more skilled, it ends in a 0-1k. In the current game design, if a killer gets a 4k in under 6 minutes, they were vastly more skilled than the survivors (in other words, the survivors made a lot of exploitable mistakes, which the killer capitalized on). If survivors escape in under 6 minutes, in the current game design, it doesn't mean that they were more skilled than the killer, they have the option of just slamming gens and having one person immediately throw down every pallet. THAT'S a problem, and it's probably why survivor queues are 10+ minutes at peak playtimes and killer queues are below 30 seconds. One role is seemingly less attractive than the other by an order of magnitude
Nah. They only needed one so that the killer would have to play with the mindset of four, due to the obsession. A side effect of DS that just increases its power.
This comparison is a bad one. The killer did not get 12 hooks. From an objective standpoint, 12 hooks is the killer objective, and 5 gens is the survivor's objective. Kills and Escapes are not. They happen after the objective.
So someone getting 4 kills in "2 minutes" means they slugged and 1 hooked everyone.. that's not impressive, nor remotely close to actually completing the objective.
This game, the objective was actually done in 2.5 mins. End of story.
There is literally no killer equivalency of being able to 12 hook a team in 2.5 mins. Not an Iri Head Huntress, not an "OP" Spirit or Nurse.
Well that's just all those busted ass items doing the job.
They used a ton of rare stuff all at once to basically get one free win. If they needed to win THAT badly then w/e they can have it?
It sucks when this happens but it is pretty rare as it requires having the best everything to do.
THis is like if a killer killed everyone with an ebony mori (Old mori) and iri hatchers or something; sure you won but I mean it wasn't you. It was the items/offerings that did the job.
If people need the hard carry that bad let em, they can't do it every game. Unlike mori's they also need like 4 people to all have that gear and build set up, so it's even rarer.

Not to discredit him/her of course.

After mory nerf, the hardest game for me in my 5k hours, i will loose 99 from 100 such games of course. And they upgraded there build with BNP here.
but she does need to be nerfed, i see complain everyday about nurse so yea
not a valid point
It is good against solo players. It's like all you guys go against is 4men coordinated SWF.
hahaha thanks brother, this is the clearest example that devs should nerf Freddy and ruin + immortal. You didn't do good pressure. Freddy can be on 5 generators at once.
Hahaha Main survivor in sight, freddy is strong and ruin and immortal are boring, you have to nerf them
@Almo I follow you on twitch and you are always very analyst, I would like to know what you think about this?
What is immortal my guy
That's what we call a "GG" moment
I only play solo survivor tho.
Had a similar match with randoms against forever Freddy. Only 1 died.
Sorry man, This is Undying + Ruin a lot they say this goal is boring. Every day I can see a comment that is a very strong build with Freddy but this is not true, only baby works, they will say yes
ban in 3-2-1
Using a build that requires survivors to get off gens to work, does not get the survivors off the gens.
If you instead had Discordance you would have done perfectly fine, dropping everyone's items and forcing them to pick up their precious toolboxes.
0:30 missed an attack completely
1:05 temporarily lost the Claudette
1:52 was outplayed by Dwight
2:00 missed Dwight completely
2:18 let Dwight run to the next loop for free
Yeah I'm sure it had nothing to do with you and your choices at all.
I'm 100% sure that this game was incredibly hard to play as and i deeply respect good blight players (you can tell that already by the 1 person asking how you did the 180 during a dash).

Do you really think that fixing those "mistakes" would have changed the outcome?
How many survs do you kill on average?

That comment actually sounded pretty unbiased, are you feeling ok?
the fact that it can happen at all is poor game design, there's no excuse for it.

Ah damn, I didn't see the ebony mori. Lol
ppl seem to forget that ruin and undying does nothing if you stay on a gen, you can only chase one at a time!!!

The killers overall objective is to get 4 kills.Doesn't matter how he gets them.
The survivors overall objective is to repair all 5 generators and escape.
What makes you think that the killer is supposed to get 12 hooks in order to fulfill their objective?
Thats what I was thinking. Unless they mean from a emblem standpoint, and the pips system is weird for both sides.
Well that's just all those busted ass items doing the job.
