If MMR works correctly then yes, high-ranked matches are only going to be the best killers running the best perks, because most killers in this game can't win against a full team of actual good survivors. Like, killers like Myers, Clown, Pig, GhostFace. They literally won't be able to keep up with the gen speeds.
What could be causing it? I was watching Otz yesterday and every single match he was going up against yellow and green ranks with maybe 1 red rank. Then the moment he turned off crossplay, he would start getting all Red Rank lobbies.
MMR is not going to fix matchmaking. Unless you’re talking about potentially fixing “skill” you’re matched against, based on what the devs secretly to equate skill to.
time for matchmaking, however, is broken. How steam charts says on average 35k+ are playing, because it feels like 2 years ago when it was around 20k or less
I think the queue times are breaking matchmaking. The longer someone waits in queue, the more lenient the matchmaking system seems to get and survivor queues are atrocious during prime time.

There is a high chance it is on, and has been on secretly for around 3 months.
For those unaware, before they officially launched it last time round, they openly admitted to secretly testing it out prior to the official launch.
To those who believe the new and improved MMR will actually help things... well you’re just as delusional as (use your imagination here)
