There's so many things that are wrong with him its insane. Against good survivors he gets looped to death, hell even against just decent survivors he gets destroyed quickly. When he uses his knives he slows down a massive amount, slower than survivors which means that they can gain a lot of distance on you, combined with the fact that you need to hit 8 shots on them to injure the survivor you usually end up getting looped for long amounts of time which is a big no no on 110 killers. 110 killers need to have powers that end chases quickly otherwise they get destroyed due to the fact that they can't move as fast as the other killers which means gens will fly.
His other power, main event is also a massive detriment to him. First off, you can't really choose when it activates or not so sometimes you'll end up getting it during a chase when you don't need it or can't use it. Secondly, when you use main event you still move slower than survivors which means on certain loops you literally won't be able to hit them with your main event which causes you to get fatigued and unable to use your knives for a while.
Plus there's nothing he does right now that's better than other killers. You catch survivors in deadzones? Well other killers can capitalize on it way more than he can, like Bubba, Hillbilly, Spirit, etc. Your getting looped by a survivor? Well you could hit the survivor 8 times with your hatchet but Huntress only needs 1 hatchet to injure survivors and Deathslinger has a .15 second wind up time for his shot. He just isn't that special.
He's just Deathslinger/Huntress with a bunch of unnecessary steps.

Yeah, it really does suck that Trickster sucks. I want him to be a good killer, my first couple of matches with him were pretty fun until I started going up against people who knew what to do to counter him. Hopefully the upcoming buffs fix him.
I was like you, being honest love his gameplay of throwing knives... as I liked PTB legion with the multiple stabs mechanic... the killer is weak although the mechanic of throwing knifes is kind of fun and honestly he has potential to be a really fun killer if he gets buffed.

Everything about Trickster is amazing... except his power level. He needs to be stronger.
Nothing officially confirmed yet,but pretty much everyone agrees he's really really weak and needs some serious buffs.
I've luckily had some fun with him with newer players to get a feel of what he COULD be doing.
