Survivor using a splinter offering bug

in PS4

Went into a game as the Doctor to get a daily done. But when I fully loaded in, I was controlling Freddy instead. After quitting the match, the results screen showed a survivor had used the "play as Freddy" splinter offering.

    Same here! Started the match as Billy and that’s the result! Same Person btw! How is that even possible on PS4?

    I actually had this twice before, though it was a couple of months ago. Thing is it didn't affect me to the same extent, as the splinter that was brought in matched to the killer I was playing at the time anyway (Freddy). I also had an instance where I was survivor and proceeded to panic when I saw two secret killer offerings. Pretty messed up that a survivor can physically choose a DLC killer they want to face without the killer themselves having a say in the matter.

    Happend to me someone used the pig offering, but I was allready playing her. when this happens perks and add-ons work. When in game the perks show at the bottom right but the add-ons don't. (this was written afterthe update where item add-ons where shown by your item / ability in game). At the end screen your offering and add-ons show but the perks don't.

     Add-Ons and Offerings are consumed in this case but they also took effect in this case.

    Also when I went back to the killer screen I was on trapper instead of pig.

    PS4 Btw.

    This bug seems strange since it shouldn't be possible for the code to give the survivors that item? Maybe it's people using some sort of weird hack. (Doubt it since it's slot harder to hack and cheat on PS4)

    It's an exploit, the same thing happened to me twice

    I love how more than half the video is a loading screen
