Sign this petition for TOTEM COUNTER BASEKIT. Make devs notice!!!

Totem counter must be a basekit feature. Making it a perk instead of basekit thing is unfair, as SWF players can get that kind of information by just sharing information (f/e: How many totems did each of you break? -I broke 2. -I broke 3. -Great, no totems remaining).

PLEASE SIGN AND SPREAD THIS PETITION TO MAKE DEVS CHANGE THEIR DECISION AND MAKE TOTEM COUNTER A BASEKIT FEATURE

    I would be fine with that. I am not going to sign some petition about it though that feels just kinda silly if I am being honest.


    Mostly I want some kind of communication wheel to be added to the game, so we can say you know "I'm going for a save" or "I am cleansing a totem" or whatever....but bhvr is stubborn about wanting survivors to be "Silent" but also know they can't stop SWF's from discord and it's like......they have to pick a side here they can't have both.

    Ummmm no thank you. Run detectives hunch and map. Or small game..Totem spawns need fixed and get destroyed in record time as it is. A counter is not necessary

    Oh yeah, we need more features as perks that people can get for free by playing totally not op gamemode.

    SWF problem doesn't exist btw, it's just as strong as solo players.

    Yeah, I don't think the devs are going to pay more attention to an "official petition" than they do any other social media, including these forums, but that being said, I do agree that should be base kit.

    I am pretty sure that giving survivors a totem counter would definitely not make solo too strong.

    I am also pretty sure that adding another perk that gives solos something that SWF players get just because they're playing with comms isn't very smart decision if BHVR even plan to solve SWF issue.

    dude, I can get the functionality of this perk by pressing a button in the main menu and inviting 3 other people without wasting a perk slot. It isn't really fair for the people that can't do that and are forced to waste a perk slot instead of using something else.

    I wouldn't mind SWF being deleted at all, tbh, but majority would cry a lot, so at least it would be nice if BHVR stopped ruining solo even more.

    Stop using the same 4 meta perks and just run small game.

    Nah totem counter shouldn't be base kit imo. Small game with totem counter is fine.

    To be fair, this is exactly the problem. The meta perks patch up fundamental problems with this game's design (tunneling/camping/slugging prevention. Gen speeds for killer meta perks).

    It's really hard to justify slotting this when you already pretty much have to run either DS or BT, an info perk like Kindred/Bond if you're not in a SWF, and then I run WGLF to help with the silly blood point grind. Throw in an exhaustion perk and you really only have one perk to play around with as a non-SWF survivor :/

    You do not "have" to run any perks whatsoever. You choose to run perks because it's much easier than learning how to counter things by gameplay alone.

    If you close the gap between Solo and SWF, you make the game easier to balance.

    I like Small Game as it is, a perk for Survivors who don't like traps. Is it powerful? No. Does it have to be powerful? Also, no. It filled a niche that some Survivors would benefit and enjoy to use.

    We're going to lose our only trap detection perk, for something that could have been added to the UI with minimal consequence, and as a bonus, Detect's Hunch is going to become obsolete at the same time.

    With 1 perk change, BHVR:

    • Removed the only perk that filled a niche
    • Spat in the faces of Solo players
    • And indirectly nerfed a completely different perk
    • Pretty good job so far

    The totem counter would be useful only for the purpose of preventing NOED. If you want to counter a perk it seems fair to me that you should use a perk, especially considering that NOED is mostly used on lower ranks (at least in my experience), where you can afford to sacrifice a perk slot for that.
