In what world does making nerfing Twins and making them feel worse to play make sense?!

HaddixHaddix Member Posts: 864

Are you kidding me? Why are they punishing Victor for getting downs like this?

They already have PLENTY of counterplay. The current cooldown gave more than enough time to kick him. Anything more is making it wayyyyyy too easy.

If you wanna change Twins to make them less reliant on slugging, sure. But this? What in the actual ######### is this?

Yeah, it’s complete BS. Why not give nurse a longer cooldown after downing a survivor??? Doesn’t make sense.

Most likely to encourage players to use Victor for the first hit, rather than the second. Although using Victor for downs was the most efficient way of playing Twins, Victor has the same problem as killers like Demo or Deathslinger, he can just hold his attack to zone people, which players simply don't see as very fun. IMO, they need to look into bigger changes for the twins, the concept of their power is really good however they rely too much on tactics that are generally recognised as unfun.

But that just doesn't make sense. They KNOW a killer having lethality and using their power for DOWNS in what makes them strong.

I think this is there anti-slug change rather than discouraging downing with Victor (he can also see blood, so once again, I don't think you're right on this one), but this is NOT how you do it.

They don't need a NERF to discourage slugging, they need a redesign for that type of change.

Twins are one of my most played killers right now, and having gone against teams that know how to counter Twins, it's pretty rough, solo or swf. They didn't need this. His current cooldown is already generous and in a good spot. This just makes no sense. It might turn me off from playing them entirely, which is hilarious because this'll discourage people who already don't play them from playing them even more. Way to make one of the most unpopular killers ever MORE unpopular.

I don't know. Only thing I can think is they are just hoping to make them bad enough that nobody plays them. They are so extremely not fun to play against.

I said one of MY most played killers. I said later on that they're already very unpopular.

If they want Twin players to use Victor for first hits and follow up with a chase from Charlotte, they need to make victor being attached to a survivor a more meaningful in chase.

Because this literally has no change in the majority of normal matches? this literally only nerfs his ability to go on a rampage, which would indicate an already unhealthy match?

The fact that they didn't nerf their ability to facecamp is more concerning, but BT change at least somewhat helps in that regard

I like the change but they really need to add something to Victor. Make it so they slow down a little with Victor on their back and when he's removed, make them stay broken for another 45 seconds and reveal their location. Adds incentive to go and find them plus grants pressure if they succeed at it. If they choose to keep Victor, they get a speed penalty making them easier to catch.

Yeah that's why I edited my comment but you saw it too fast.

And we still don't have Victor and Charlotte's solo portraits in the forums T_T

That change is probably going to make me give up on Twins. R.I.P. Imagine weakening only thing they're good at. slugging.

Freddy changes are more detached from high-level. That's another killer that I am probably never touching ever again. Whats the point of becoming good at any killer if all your efforts become meaningless in the end.

They're not encouraging, they're punishing the alternative, and the reason why the few people who play twins choose the alternative is because Victor being the first hit is objectively terrible. You can't see the aura of Victor right away, so the Twins can't capitalize off of oblivious, and altogether, Victor has an effective cooldown that would make Ghostface blush, and this is without add-ons to lower it.

Because there are only a handful of twins players and they are most likely good so twins stats get bloated to high hell.

Most likely because they miss so rarely with victor is why devs made that change. They mostly care about stats which is why these abominations of a change happen.
