Closing the game causes mouse cursor lag

After closing the game on PC, the mouse cursor slows to crawl for about 30 seconds before speeding back up. Memory usage is not spiking, nor are other processes slowing down. It is limited to only the mouse.

I get this from time to time, if you check task manager you can see the process for DBD is still running in the background after you have exited the game; I end the process in task manager if the mouse lag occurs.

I have no idea why the process isn't properly being killed, but that sorts it out.
