I wonder about the timing of these things. I wonder how much of a calculated move it was to slip in the Stranger Things news on the eve of something potentially very positive. Pretty shrewd, I have to admit. So I guess, while I'm still not feeling very happy about THAT development, I'll be just as curious as everyone else to log in tomorrow and see what's next. Gotta move on.
Makes sense. They’ve probably been in negotiations about renewing the license for a while and it eventually became clear that it just wasn’t going to happen. Curious about the reason why though.
Nah this is only for a 3-month thing, I'm playing nothing but Demo for killer (I'll play Pinhead when he comes out, if he's interesting) for 3 months straight to pay a tribute to the big guy. I'm switching back to Blight by November 17th.
Not particularly excited for tomorrow as I'm a console gamer so I can't play on the PTB, but I am excited about the day after tomorrow where I get new Steve skins because of the sale if that counts towards anything.
You're the second person to say that today. Thank you. It really does mean a lot to me. A lot of the posts I used to make went completely ignored, no votes or quotes, and it would sometimes be frustrating because I was really trying to add some decent insight to various conversations. But some of you started responding, and always had interesting things to say. I enjoyed talking to you guys. Even so I figured that once I got my temporary ban I'd be quickly forgotten. The fact that I wasn't (or at least am remembered now that I've returned) feels really nice. I appreciate that.
I need to be more careful about how I phrase things. :)
Without Candyman and even more so with what happened this day, Pinhead would not surprise me much, according to the game system, we would not win a killer, we would be replacing him.
I've never seen the Hellraiser movies, so I'm not emotionally invested in it. Though wasn't it disclosed that the new killer would have a Legendary Skin set available? How would that play into Hellraiser? I've only ever seen him in the same outfit - long black trench coat.
If it were Springtrap we could expect to see Legendary skins for Chika, Bonny, Freddy, and Foxy.
Maybe I'm biased, but I'm really hoping it's Springtrap
Hellraiser is rooted in mysticism, excess, and the combination of punishment and pleasure. Pinhead is essentially a demonic wizard with a taste for the machinations of the flesh. It would be very interesting to see how that could be made to work within the practical confines of a game like this. He's definitely capable of having a ranged attack, but more like a Freddy dream world kind of range, not a direct "let me throw this at you" kind of thing.
I'm less enthusiastic getting into another licensed DLC after the Stranger Things situation. I'm still interested to see how it will look but I am not sure about a purchase.

I'm not expecting it tomorrow i think the ptb might be wednesday, or in 1-2 weeks.

The "Sunset" to me implies this has been planned for some time.
I have been wondering what would happen here if EVERYONE was wrong and it was a licensed killer no one had even considered.
That being said, I’m curious how they’ll portray Pinhead.
I'm cautiously optimistic about Pinhead.

My hype kinda went to poopoo land. I am still curious to see what Pinhead will do, but I lost a lot of interest after the ST situation.
Deathslinger but with "Chained" status effect that makes you vulnerable to his real attack which is also just a chain but this time it does damage
