Surge doesn't give notifications (PC)

I was using Surge on clown, map was rancid abbatoir. It's the first time I've used surge in a while.
Whenever it activated looking at the icon in the bottom right, there was no noise from the generators. From what I remember using this perk you get the sound and visual notification of a generator exploding, like a failed skillcheck. In this game there was none at all even though surge activated a number of times.

The bug is still in the game.
Interesting ... This bug has not been fixed for more than half a year, is it considered a bug at all?
Hope hasn't faded yet...
Probably because there is a "not a bug" thing they can apply to these reports. Chances are that this bug is very low priority
