Ash IV killer vs Iridescent survivors? Really?

I'm learning killer, I'm literally at ash IV rank, and the stupid matchmaking system puts me against Iridescent I and III survivors, literally killer at the lowest rank and survivors at the top ranks. So obviously I get bullyed in the match. How is this fair???

Okay. But the Grades literally say nothing about your skill but playtime in the current month.
if you are actually learning killer from the beginning with zero experience then sure mmr did a bad job right there. But you can’t judge it by the grades
Those ranks don’t mean anything anymore other than showing how much you’ve played the game.
It's not rank anymore it's your grade. And your grade has nothing to do with match making.
"You will be matched with players who are a similar level with their survivors and killers" that is literally a description of the new system

grades are different from that
The Grades are not used for matchmaking, they do not show the player's level or skill, but just their playtime for the current month.
The system is MMR based, which is a hidden stat.
And grades are not a reflection of skill. They are not used in matchmaking. They just tell you and others how much you played that month.
Yeah in terms of your skill level. The ranks have nothing to do with your skill.

Well if you’re playing a new killer then the system didn’t do it’s job and as @Mooks said, the grades have nothing to do with who you got matched with.
Yes I understand that now, but still is supposed to match me against people on my skill level right? Not against what was obviously experienced players
