Hatch not opening

It's been several times now that this stupid bug ruins my math. I'm right there at the hatch with the key in my hand and it just won't give me the option to open it.
When is this getting fixed?

You didn't read last patch notes? The key no longer opens hatch when it has zero charges.
I had charges, actually it was full. The hatch spawned in a corner of the garage on autohaven and it just wouldn't let me scape
in the upcoming patch, for now it's the same.
That change was implemented in Patch 5.1.0. It's already in the game.
