Bhvr is pushing killers to camp and tunnel

    Seeing people giving death threat or DDOS ect...so those who having fun by ruining other people' games is possible.

    It's ironic that people here think they have to do tunnel because of boon

    boon had no effect on gen or chase speed

    chasing several people and injuring them in itself is disadvantageous to the killer in the first place

    Snowballing is a bad idea. Boon effect gen speed because it allows one person to heal as if someone else is healing them and the frees up a person to be on a gen and all 4 survivors can you it. Its actually a bad idea to stick to certain chases if they are in a really strong loop or run half way across the map away from any gens after you hit them you should probably drop that chase

    none of what you said makes sense

    genspeed always same until killer hooked or killed someone

    unless you're hitting multiple survivors at once, it just makes the survivors' gen speed faster

    If you divide the heal speed by 4 and calculate the distance and chase speed after hit,

    even in self care standard you lose

    and even badder if they using coh, which never happen if you camp someone

    you don't need to create another variable situation

    time is on your side only after one survivor has died

    All I know is, if I play Killer, I 24/7 tunnel and camp to secure kills.

    And you can blame the SWF flashlight crews who use every dirty and toxic trick in the book to try and get 4 escapes and leave nobody behind. Oh and don't forget the teabagging at the end just to really be extra toxic to the killer they just bullied.

    Because of that, I tunnel and camp every time I play killer. Even more fun, I go Trapper and slowly concentrate all the traps in my basement area and start camping my hooks and hope they come save him. That's what I've been reduced to because of how unfun, toxic, and triggering SWF is. I've gotten close to uninstalling after a 4 man SWF flashlight super black ops delta squad thoroughly abused me and then teabagged me at end.

    AS for suvivors, I don't really care. Nothing other survivors do is a big deal to me, because I feel like I can control my own destiny. Even if I feel my team is bad, and there's only 2 of us left, and the other guy gets hooked... I'll sometimes just decide to let him die and look for the hatch. Survivor doesn't upset me much. One time, I did 3 generators and never got seen by the Killer. The rest of my team did 0 gens and were easily 2 hooked and killed. When the Killer found me trying to escape, the last one alive, he let me escape. I asked him why after game, and he said he let me escape out of respect, because he hadn't seen me all game and my team was bad.

    It's playing as Killer vs the SWF crews that ruin my gaming experience.

    I have to disagree. A survivor who runs across the map, away from gens to heal is a waste on time as they are not doing gens. It is much quicker for the injured survivor to run to a gen and either heal if there are people there and help on the gen, or start another gen and wait for a heal. Plus I find very few teams actually put a boon up now, as some players try to loop around it so they are close, and as it makes a loud noise, it takes two seconds to snuff it out.

    Even when there is no boon totem, killers still camp and with any killer they want to use, then use boon totems, gen speed (which they normally use a perk to slow them), survivors using exhaustion perks (when the killer is already faster) and anything else they can think of as an excuse.

    I have just had two killer games in a row, not once have I had to camp and guess what, they was both 4k and we had a great time in end chat, thanking each other, no toxicity at all.

    I wasn't talking about running across the map to heal but to lead the killer away from gens that need to be done. If the killer takes that chase with 1-3 gens left he will most likely lose all the gens left but he can chose to leave the chase knowing that survivor is injured and he can find them later injured or at least 1 other player has to not do gens to heal you. CoH completely stop all that because if the survivors can heal them self as if there is another player doing it while the other survivor is off doing anything else to progress the game.

    Yes killers complain about gen speeds and then run slow down perks it would be weird if they didn't.

    Most exhaustion perks extend the chase by alot when the killer needs to make them as short as possible. You do realize the killer is literally .4 or .6 meters faster than a survivor.

    Ok now this one is a big one and is really really important play more then 30 minutes as killer and then form an opinion.

    If you slug near a boon totem, you deserve to have them get up. The radius is small. Either you hear it, or they have to crawl to it. It's a junk perk I don't expect to see run much.

    They always nerf strong killers in every major update.

    Even mid tier killers got nerfed too.

    The point for strong killers is to destroying SWF, but they didn't listen. Always hear survivor mains.

    Considering how they’re trying to push 2 kill 2 escape average games since that’s a fair game to the devs.. We’re kinda going in the right direction?

    You’re not supposed to 4k every game, and most of the time survivors don’t 4 man escape.

    I do not think camping and tunnel are a phase, dictep... It is more a lifestyle choice. You don't grow out of it.

    But if you are better than the survivors you should be able to get a 4k and honestly that's becoming less and less true with every update.

    Unless there is a significant skill difference, survivors have a huge advantage over the killer because the killer objective takes significantly longer than 4 survivors doing gens.

    This 2k average is hurting the game because it means that in order to balance out the fact that bad survivors will give killers easy 4ks, good survivors need to be nearly impossible to kill. Which is just going to drive away good killers when they don't get rewarded for their investment.

    That might even be swell in a game without the groups of Scumbags With Friends feeding off the natural 4vs1 atmosphere to end up perpetually bullying & berating any killers who put up a weak showing as their own little entertainment & testament to their ego, regardless of the circumstances.

    Oh I know I'm playing a meme build... they just don't give a #########. Nor do any care whether it's a killer you never play for some daily, whether you've got no add-ons, whether you're following self-limitations to make it more fun for them, or even whether you're playing on a CRT monitor with no audio, three broken fingers, and a fork up your ass.

    Losing isn't actually that bad in any environment where people don't treat you as literally bad for letting it happen. In DBD though way too many people even go out of their way to make you feel bad. That's largely because BHVR has let it become this bad by never tackling toxicity in the first place.

    Some games can get away with even worse sportsmanship & indecency, as they're more level fields of competition/comparison, but for an asymmetrical game--compounded by the extreme SWF skew of power & viciousness--every push from balance to a jester role to be ######### all over makes it that much more imperative for BHVR to make sure losing is fun.... or at least not ######### miserable, by getting rid of anyone acting in ways that would get them punched in real life.

    Let's be real though no one is pushing you to do anything lol you're doing that of your own volition. Which there is nothing wrong with of course, just don't act like you are being forced into doing stuff you don't wanna do when if you really wanted to you could just NOT. But you wanna 4k which again nothing wrong with but you've made a decision, just own it?

    To all those saying "have fun, and don't worry about getting kills"..... getting kills **is** fun, hello?!.

    It just so happens that tunneling and camping is very often the best way to guarantee a sacrifice or two. And I'm telling you..... that, and anything else is more fun for a killer than getting 4 clicky click teabaggers in the exit gate, waiting and waiting right to the last to finally escape.

    Also, dont forget that these campers and tunnelers will straight up dc if they see a gen rush happening (3+ gens done and not a single hook yet).

    Losers will tend to remain losers. Nothing BHVR can do about them.

    Actually sometimes it is fun to let a gen rush happen. Wait, wait, wait, then boom with NOED or chainsaw..... Down to the basement you go. No decent bloodpoints for you my friend. 😁

    And then when you m1 survs in endgame, you realize there is no totem standing for a NOED to activate. :P

    Chainsaws are easy to dodge most of the times.

    It not competitive in the slightest I'm sorry. Siege is more competitive compare to this. Yes they are doing mmr but the devs have stated it goes by playtime not by how good you are. If you are competitive then by all means get the 4k you want or escapes.

    OK first point. If the survivor is running across the map to heal, then like you said, you don't have to chase, you can go and pressure the other gens. That survivor can easily find a medkit in a chest and heal, or not even heal, just loop the map and get on another gen. This is why as a killer, I don't get into long chases. I would rather loose a survivor and pressure the gens. You can also run NoEd, so even if they do heal, come the end game, that survivor can go down with one hit. Also a lot of survivors run adrenalin, so when that last gen pops, they heal anyway.

    I don't get your second statement. If you are running something to slow gen speeds, which are not fast in the first place, I mean a hook stage is quicker, why worry about boon totems for a heal. The whole reason for gen slowing is to give you extra time, that is what boons do.

    Exhaustion perks have a limited time, they run out and then take a while to regenerate. The killer is faster all the time, they do not give chase and then get worn out.

    Now the last one. before rank reset, my killer was Iridescent three, my survivor was Gold two and I was one of the unlucky ones who got the extra rank reset mid month, so I assume that is well over the 30 minutes as a killer. I have played killers with one perk, no gen slow down perks, just a basic perk that comes with the killer, and got 4k's without camping hooks. So maybe you should take some of your own advice and go play survivor. When you have both killer and survivor into at least Gold, come back and give me your opinion on both.

    Last night was literally the first time in 200 odd hours of playing killer that a survivor gave me a free hook at the end. It was a 4man SWF, 3 of which were toxic as all hell. I think he was mildly ashamed of his friends.
