CoH is the best boon currently and pretty much a power creep to all other healing perks in the game, so instead of people running Self Care/Inner Stength, they're just gonna pick CoH instead with medkits.
I don’t see how boons are making meta build for survivors so much different.
This is another topic where everyone references the same extreme examples. When people talk about killer perks, it's always the worst-case scenario: "A survivor cleansed my Hex Totem in 3 seconds." When they discuss survivor perks, it's always the best-case scenario: "They used DS and escaped" or "DH extended the chase by 30s, and all five gens popped." No one ever wants to have a balanced discussion about the times' Hexes are never discovered and provide tremendous value to The Killer or the times when DS, DH, or UB bring little or no value.
Yea that does sound nice but with my group (we don't run all meta) we usually all just sponge off my circle of healing because I usually know where the best totem spawns for it are on some maps, the top of rpd library creates a massive safe haven on that entire side of the map which is usually enough most matches as long as I find a good spot
Yeah, some maps have really nasty spawns where killer would have to waste a lot of time to deal with them.
But usually is enough to find totem, finish nearby gen, then use boon. You just have to make sure there is no other objective for a killer other than boon.
I am truly fascinated by how close DBD’s meta is to Yu-Gi-Oh’s meta, whenever the devs want to change up the meta they have to ban current meta cards or release something insanely busted, then either nerf it into the floor or outright ban it
granted, we haven’t had anything resembling the DBD equivalent of full strength Trishula or Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon yet, but at this point it’s only a matter of time

Nerf face-camping and Borrow Time can be removed
Nerf proxy-tunneling and Tunneling and Decisive Strike can be removed
Nerf slugging and Unbreakable can be removed
Nerf Killer movement speed and ability to anti-loop and Dead Hard can be removed.
It seems as if survivors meta is entirely caused by Developers putting bandaids on Killer strategies that have no counters.
I got it. Killer's can only move at 50% movement speed from now on. That'll fix all your problems.
Also this new Boon is literally nerfing slugging so.

Sounds like a you problem tbh
And the recovery speed is doubled!
