Pinhead's special was already useless, and all his power comes from the box, and my framerate playing as him is literally half what it is with any other killer. His saving grace was the box, but because the devs had a brain fart and forget Franklin's existed when they made the box, they later nerfed the box into the ground, so now it's useless too. And they nerfed it based on how matches were going before survivors knew how it worked, so now that survivors understand it the effect of the nerf is even worse.
I guess I should just forget he exists and go back to just playing Doctor and Myers, and consistently 4k-ing with no add-ons.

um they didn’t nerf the box only the addons and it was a bug fix that made it so while solving chains don’t interrupt anymore which is bullshit cause it still happens

I mean, I do agree that nerfing Pinhead just based on the early kill rates of him isn't wise. But I wouldn't say that was the only reason they nerfed Pinhead. Especially Engineer's fang was complained about a lot. Understandably.
I also don't agree that he is weak now. But against really good survivors he will struggle a lot most of the time. The biggest problem I have with Pinhead is that too much of Pinhead's power lies within his passive. His passive is too strong, and his chase too weak. Of course it's good that Pinhead actually has fair counterplay in chases, that shouldn't go away. Survivors can dodge Pinhead's chains, and they can break his chains on objects, however, the second counterplay right now can be too strong, making is chase potential too inconsistent.
I am kind of puzzled though when you say that you'll just go back to Doctor and Myers and 4K every game. Or is that some kind of sarcasm I don't get?

The Pinheads in my games seem to be doing just fine. Still running Ruin+Undying with the slowdown add-ons, and still mopping most average Survivors with it. His passive is still very strong.
What did they do to the box? I'm so confused. The box is still the same.
I'm sorry but consistently 4k'n with Myers no add-ons against even semi-competent survivors is highly unlikely.
He's weak. A huge amount of his power came from his addons, and they were gutted to almost Freddy levels.
He's not as weak as some other killers - and that's genuinely depressing.
That said - I still do play him a fair amount and can have some success, but wow - Pinhead on The Game is one of the most frustrating experiences imaginable.
Unless it's a Blight or a very good Nurse or Huntress, 4king against competent survivors on any killer consistently is highly unlikely. That's...sort of the point of SBMM. Myers can do very well with TSP or perma T3 though.
The only killer I can generally get a 3-4k on if I absolutely want to is Hag if I really step on the gas. Generally though, I'll give people hatch, sometimes even a duo gate.
I know Pinhead is weak, but it makes no sense that you struggle with him yet dominate with "no add-ons" Myers and Doctor. They're not much better than he is.
The only non pink/purple addons he had that were worth a damn got nerfed into the ground (and the only ones that actually helped with the box... which as everyone worked out, is where most of his pressure came from). And the chains are comically unreliable due to being broken by the environment, spawning through the environment, being broken by Pinhead... on top of the aiming. So, pretty close to unplayable unless you're there for the masochism of having your power waste more of your time than the other person's even when you hit, or being used against you.
At least he can mess with console players' due to control mapping. What a bonus.
Doctor especially, since about half his powerset is locked behind addons.
I dont think he meant both killers without add ons, its not bard to run no add ons for myers

I can hardly play Doctor without the detonation delay. His ability is so slow feeling.
