Perk changes

notlonelynotlonely Member Posts: 388

Basically I'd like to know what everyone thinks about them.

IMO: some of those perks have been asking for a buff for eons, like Distorsion and Wake up! However, the reasons why the perks are bad have been utterly ignored. The exception I'd admit is Remember Me, it might me usable now but I barely play killer so I can't tell.

Dead Man's switch seems useful now, with killer's like Doctor, Pinhead and Artist. Just depends if it's worth dropping Pop for the trade of blocking a gen / multiple gen's instead.

According to one of their Twitter replies, the Boil Over buff will apply like an Balanced Landing, which means it's basically any fall instead of the Tome challenge distance. This could become a huge off-meta fun perk.

Remember Me would still not be used, even tho it will be better, since No Way Out Exists.

Boil Over sounds interesting on paper, let's see if it's still garbage, actually decent, or abusable.

They completely missed the mark with Distortion, it needs to have a way to replenish Tokens, they should have kept or maybe even decreased the amount of base tokens, but make safe unhooks give you tokens back, maybe they could even add a cap for how many tokens you can hold at a time.

Power Struggle, who really cares, without Flip Flop it's nothing anyways.

Wake Up is alright I guess? Lowering the exit game opening time by 5 seconds is alright from some pathetic 3 seconds.

Gearhead sounds really nice, let's see how it goes in the PTB.

Again completely missed what makes Buckle Up useless, unless it reveals the Killer for some unholy amount of time, it won't ever be used. Also why still have the range requirement? Just rework that poor perk.

Coup de Grâce is still meh, I wish there was a way to get more Tokens.

By making Furtive Chase not lose all Tokens doesn't make it a better Perk, it still sucks, the condition is still the same...

Dead Man's Switch actually sounds a bit meta now to be honest, let's wait and see!
