as a pinhead main since he was released, i absolutely agree. engineers fang is so busted that it literally doesn’t feel good for both the killer (because of how easy it is) and the survivor (because it’s a cheap hit since you get injured 5 meters or more away from pinhead) and which i want a rework for engineers fang. i want his garbage addons buffed, iridescent lament configuration nerf reverted and (basically pixelbush’s change) a buff to the lament configuration solve time where it’s basically this
What is that add-on and what does it do?
Landing a chain on a healthy survivor injures them instead of slowing them down.
I hope this is sarcasm.
Pinhead then...I see.
Doesn't sound like a big deal to me.
That game felt pretty easy.
You are a good player, and maybe the survivors were not that good.
I’m not so great with Pinhead. I guess some of the survivors weren’t good but still.
I was thinking the same lol It gives u no chance to antiloop.
Yes, but you do have a lot of general killer knowledge. That is already a huge deal.
I could be wrong, obviously. I have never seen Pinhead in-game and I even thought this effect was always on his kit.
But I don't think such add-on could, by itself, make the game that easier.
I guess it was mostly because it improves Pinhead so much that you get hits with a power you aren’t supposed to get hits with. It’s made to slow down survivors and give survivors a chance to combat the chains so that’s part of the reason I don’t like the add on.
How exactly does Iri LC work again?
Speak for yourself. I always think it makes landing hits actually satisfying. Especially tricky ones.
Survivors can't see the box aura until the chain hunt starts if they're beyond 24m (was 16m).
But they can see it once the hunt starts and I think it can actually spawn within 24m of a Survivor (but more than 8m). Remember, because of how radii work, a 50% increase is actually more than doubling the visible area.
Against Bad survivors anything seems overpowered. You can kill them all with Trapper without using your traps....dead ass serious.
I guess it's a good thing we balance for baby survivors they will nerf again.
While the chainhunt event is charging up the box isn't revealed to the survivors unless they are around the right part of the map, ie 24m. Thats still a big radius, but some player has to go into the general direction. If everyone is doing gens or looping around the same general vicinity, no one will find the cube till the chainhunt starts.
I felt this way with spirit, even after her nerf she's still ridiculously strong for how little mechanical skill she requires.
I will die on this hill, Spirit is to easy, Pinhead even with Engi Fang still requires a lot of skill and good predictions.
It really seems like people like to use the argument that a certain killer needs almost 0 skill or brain power when they don't like going against them.
To be fair, Legion's power really isn't hard to pull off though. But I don't see how Pinhead's Engineer's Fang is worse than that? Because with Pinhead you actually have to hit your chains, which isn't that easy to do.
You feel like a Big Brain Legion player, though, when you manage to do the last Legion tome challenge, ie hitting survivors 5 times with one use of Feral Franzy. Oh yeah!
at least his main power does something with it
Exactly why I thought that add-on was always on his kit.
Lol that's fair enough. Sounds like a challenge that requires survivors to screw up quite a bit as well though. Glad I never bothered with that one.
Try playing her or Pinhead with controller.
It's funny that you say that because I'm a console player and Pinhead is my second main.
Do you stream at all? I'd love to see your gameplay. Do you have aim assist on console?
I find several killers including Pinhead somewhat unplayable with controller on PC.
I don't stream but I'll explain how I play him:
So essentially I never use his M2 unless I'm stopping someone from solving the box, or I'm bring First Pain or Engi Fang. When I do have to chain someone though, I put the portal in front of the loop their heading to and time the chain possession. All I care about is box management and using my knowledge of box spawns to force the survivors into really tough situations (Perks like Thana and Ruin help apply this immense pressure.) The reason why I love Pinhead so much is that he's all about the 4v1, and winning with him feels very earned almost every time.
