Run Kindred and Windows of opportunity. Kindred will tell you where everyone is the second someone is hooked, so you'll be able to be optimal with when to stick to gens, go for saves, or distract the killer. All 3 will contribute toward emblems, so Kindred alone is already giving you a way of deciding which of the 3 is best at any given time someone is out of commission.

Windows will help you route chases much better, so you'll get caught in deadzones considerably less often, and know what pallets have/havent been used (likewise, which doors havent been broken.) Learning to use that information can either make your chases last extremely long, or have the killer outright refuse to chase due to recognizing when their time and pressure will be wasted.

Don't go for bad saves. If you have BT don't rely on it, and if you don't have BT then don't save in the killer's TR unless absolutely necessary. And if a save DOES go south, be willing to pull the killer away from the person who just got unhooked. If you know the killer is on the opposite side of the map (and its not a killer like the plague or something,) don't be afraid to heal the person who just got unhooked either (and again, if interrupted, be willing to take the attention on purpose.)

Those decisions alone will help pip progress at most ranks of solo survivor, and have the added bonus of just being plays that help take away the killer's pressure and increase your chances of winning. Don't worry about the survival emblem too much, unless its something like you're standing at the exit gates teabagging and havent been downed the entire game (then you could drop from iri to gold for no reason, so stop BMing and just leave.)

You basically HAVE to also go for altruistic plays. Pretty annoying when everyone else is also rushing to unhook at mach speed.

Its easier to pip during normal gameplay. But since its event you are probably versing sweaty tunneling tryhards most of the games so its harder now

Use any perk you want or which help you survive like dead hard, spribg burst or chinespill - these are one of the most used.

To win as solo you jave to be proactive. One is hooked and you are busy with a gen while obsession is being chased? go rescue him asap!

Also always check surroundings so you can see how many pallets left if any or where they are.

Once gates are active you are on your own. dont expect helo if killer hooks you in the basement so do your best to hide or unlock the gate asap.

these are only few but maybe it will help you to get higher grade

    It's easy:

Rescue 2 people safely for altruism, do 1 gen and dull totems for easy Lightbringer, escape for survival. Boldness can be tricky if you struggle in chases and if you do, just use perks to extend and lose chases. You want them to be as long as possible and to end them without taking a hit.

I think it can be a bit tough in solo in particular, I always get there but it can be slow progress when you get farmed by team mates or your team just throws the match in general. I tend to always run BT so I can always get safe saves but for early game I try to focus on getting my gen time out of the way, as for me if I don't pip it is usually because I didn't do enough on gens.

I like to save altruism and chases for later in the match, so I run Windows so I can see what loops have no pallet left in them so I don't get downed fast in chases from running to dead zones.

If you have struggling I do suggest looking at your emblems post game to see where you are not getting your points and make adjustments to your plays to sort that.
