120% killer with no power

MineguyMineguy Member Posts: 318

Would you personally be interested in a killer who is 5% faster then the other killers but has no other power?

It would be interesting. It would be the most basic Killer in the game, focusing purely on basic mechanics. I'd give it more than just 120% ms, like passive abilities to maybe speed things up. A Killer who's power is purely passive would be great.

No. To me, this killer already exists, and I call him Wraith. His power isn't really one, it's pure mobility, and now a lot of stealth. Is it fun to play him, when I really enjoy the character? Absolutely not.

No, various killers, original, with weaknesses and strengths, unique abilities... Not bland killers like Wraith, please.

120% movement speed is most killers after 15 seconds in chase, it's not strong enough at all to be a standalone ability. Although I'm not against some of the weaker killers being 120%, it's increased map pressure and chase potential crammed in one, maybe for killers like Trapper it could be a good idea.

    Sounds kinda boring

Not at all. They would suck and be extremely boring.

That would be sooo boring if 5% was all they did. I'm far more interested in 105% killer which game changing power, that would be fun.

I wanted a Terminator killer like this. It basically starts the match with 5 stacks of Fired Up. Its power would be passive: scan the survivor as you chase them, slowly revealing their equipped perks and items 1 by 1. Or maybe you have to stalk them to scan, sacrificing your move speed.

    • If you find a survivor with Deliverance, make sure to hook them first.
    • You'll know who not to slug.
    • You'll know to bait the Dead Hard.
    • You'll know about DS or Head On beforehand

...assuming you've spent enough time chasing them to see their perks. This would actually make some survivors afraid to be chased and actually feel Exposed.

Maybe the number of scannable things is limited by the game's progress:

    • No gens done: Only items/addons are revealed
    • 1 gen done: 1 (random) perk slot + items/addons
    • 2 gens done: 2 (random) perk slots + items/addons
    • 3 gens: 3 perks + items/addons
    • 4 gens: 4 perks + items/addons
    • 5 gens: Part of a SWF group or not + 4 perks + items/addons

This is probably one of the most unique ideas proposed yet. I think I like it.

    Nice idea.

120% speed is a nice ability but not enough to make for a fun killer on its own. You still want something the killer can do with their Power button on a regular basis to help them out. It doesn’t necessarily have to be quite as powerful as a typical power if the killer already passively moves 120%, but it should still exist and be cool enough and useful enough that the killer wants to use it too.

This post is over half a year dead. Please let it rest in peace.

On another note, wow, i didn't even notice that some of those longtime forum people in here got banned.

120% as a passive would be fine. I think a good Active ability for them would be to switch to 3rd person view, giving you a brief ability to get the same awareness survivors have.

Very straight-forward, easy to pick up and play killer.

130% and 3 hit to down, how about it.
