Noed is lame but it is what it is i dont even use it as a killer main
Honestly, i wouldn't mind the speed boost going away, not that its useful since everyone just runs dead hard these days
but still its a bit helpful in some cases
How about this? We keep the speed boost, but every time the killer gets a down they are stuck for a few seconds while they laugh maniacally over the downed Survivor before picking them up. I don't know if it'll add balance or not, but I do know it would be really funny.
And this is good thing. It is like campers & tunnellers. People are using this strategies and boosting kill rates. I wish people would play just normal and BHVR finally would see killers have not even enough hooks.
Believe it or not, NOED has had many turns.

tunneling and camping are legit strats what do you mean play normal. Killers are there to kill just like survivors are there to survive should body blocking the killer be abnormal game play for survivors?
Only if dead hard grants distance OR invincibility, not both
Let me picture for you:
You are Myers. You are hard tunnelling and this boosts kills for you. Fair. But then you are facing with stronger survivors. And they are destroying you. At end game you had 2 or 3 hooks. Because Myers is weak.
And then BHVR is looking their data. They are seeing you had more wins with Myers. But they did not look you camped and tunnelled survivors. So Myers needed buffs but he did not get anything because of his kill rates.
Ofcourse i am not judging people because they camped or tunnelled but this just boosts kill rates, weak killers looks like god.
That sounds like an mmr /balance issue

noed shouldnt affect survivors who cleansed dull totems. emphasis on dull. cuz if there are hex totems in play, they're already forced to break them, which, depending on what hex it is, would be something the killer won't want.
Either that, or make the exposed effect apply AFTER the exit gates are opened. This'll put the perk at an equal level to No One Left Behind. Haste can be buffed to 6%-8% or something so the killer is still threatening without the exposed.
The way it is now is not fair at all, especially if the killer is either good at applying pressure, with or without 3 gen slowdown perks, or they are camping/tunneling at 5 gens. Which forces survivors to grind gens. Or scenarios where a survivor cleansed 3-4 totems, But the last totem wasn't found, so THEY alone get hit with noed.
I personally would buff the haste, make exposed apply after gates are open, and block the exit for survivors who did not cleanse a dull totem for 60-90 seconds.
Which brings me to the next thing i was thinking about vvv
They can make a new Status Effect that prevents survivors from exiting gates, so its not just "the gate is blocked for them", that can add more variety to other perks/add-ons/powers. Like Rancor, Bloodwarden (would apply the effect on everyone), NOED (obviously), Victor, Pinhead's chains [yes I know these 2 already block people from exiting, I just wanted this effect to be applied to them so it's easier for people to understand why they cannot escape while they have Victor/chains], Freddy's black box add-on, they can make an add-on for Artist that applies this effect to swarmed survivors, fully infected survivors (Plague), marked survivors (Ghost Face), add-on for inactive RBT's etc.
This effect would only appear on the HUD during end game collapse so as to not reveal the killers' build too early.
Noed is fine in its current state. If the majority of maps were fair then I would go ahead and say change it in some way.
Noed is only a problem if killer tunnel and camp. I play Trapper without tunnel/camp and Noed is surprisingly weak.
Nerf Noed just make a perk unappealing to use, but tunnel/camp still exist.
I prefer to die to Noed with 18k BP than rushing gen vs tunnel/camp and escape with 8k.
NOED is pretty weak overall. It makes you play with 3 perks until the last gen pops, has lots of counterplay, and only gives more than one kill (which you would have gotte with 4 perks anyways) unless the survivors play into it. More or less.

Correct. Its one of the reasons why i want a hook based sbmmr instead of a kill based. A killer with 3 kills but only 3 hooks is superior on paper, than a killer with 8 hooks but 0 kills.

DH is useless perk, especially when it's not connects properly with killer hit, u finishing up DH in ground and u still complaining about that perk, u serious???

Noed has a counter for that you even dont need a perk. The problem is that often generators are done so fast these days, especially with coordinated swfs.
If they go for hook based sbmm and balance around it, they need to nerf tunnel and camp. Because killers will be already stronger and probably camp and tunnel will be op.
Camping is a intended strategy since the beginning.
Also, if you boil down camping and tunneling to its basics, then survivors are just as guilty as killers. Or have you ever seen a survivor ignore a gen that is at 90% and regressing?
It is fair for current DbD but if BHVR balance game around hooks, not kills this mean killers will have longer time. And yeah, at this point camp and tunnel will be broken. Out 1 survivor and game will be imposible to finish for survivors.
Who knows, maybe the devs will turn every hook into a Pizzahead cage that teleports if the killer stays within a certain area, once the rest of the game has been balanced.
The day DH gets nerfed to the ground ill happily give up noed (even tho its not the same and can be countered unlike DH)
