Why do I as a Killer, running literally no regression perks and chasing a guy for 1 minute and 20 seconds encounter TWO gens popping, then 3 more gens being 99'd, exit gates being 99'd then the guy I just hooked being unhooked by 2 guys sandbagging for him and when I STILL get him he just either uses Decisive or gets sandbagged really hard by the same 2 guys? Why does "idiotic meta shakeup" refer to disabling stupid Decisive plays where you DEAD HARD to avoid a hit, still get hit then get a free Decisive Strike to get out.
Why do I always encounter Boon: Circle of Healing in 2/3rds of my games as Killer, then two medkits and a flashlight on top of that, then a toolbox with brand new part???
Yeah if the killer downs all 4 survivors that's TOTALLY NOT AN ISSUE!
Yeah if the killer is slugging 3rd surv to find and down 4th to absolutely prevent ANY CHANCE of escaping, that's TOTALLY NOT AN ISSUE!

Protecting a hook IS camping (not face camping obviously but still camping). You're not going away to find another survivor.

This nerf kills part of the stealth game on the survivor. Now the wounded will not be able to chase after hiding somewhere near the killer, he will not have an early notification that the killer is heading towards him, i.e. solo survival will become even more difficult. Remind how the developers love the task like hiding 10 meters from the killer to the wounded. Good luck getting it after the patch
Here's the thing. I'm aware people will disagree. I was even looking forward to the changes. I'm more than disappointed and that's OK too. That's all fine but my issue is people replying and saying OH CHANGE YOUR BUILDS! HA NOW YOU HAVE TO! No that's not how the game worked and it's not how it's going to work going forward. Killers still have their main style unchanged and their regression perks, some of them are even better. Killers changing their perks to different regression combined with how most people approach the game will most likely change very little for killers. If it was this meta shakeup that people keep proclaiming why is gen regression still so powerful and largely unchanged? At a glance of course, I obviously haven't touched the patch yet.

Killers got regression perks nerfed, just to get others buffed. So where is the killer "meta shakeup"? it's still going to be slowdown after slowdown + gens going from 80 seconds to 90 seconds.
Survivor meta trashed, what is the replacement? Calm spirit "buff"? Maybe the Pharmacy "buff"? Sole Survivor?
Yeah, Spirit is going to have a field day after this crap goes live, its nice to have the good ol' "I hit you, use my power, locate you by your grunts and down you without you being able to do anything about it" matches.
BT wouldn't bother you if you weren't tunneling (unless the unhooked surv is bodyblocking which won't appear often), same applies to DS.
DH is useless if you're playing right, and that only leaves the surv with one perk which is IW... that's getting DESTROYED and changes the game COMPLETELY (for the killer's HUGE advantage once again!).
I see exhaustion after exhaustion after exhaustion every game, meanwhile gen slowdowns meta perks have been trashed. What is the replacement ? Coulrophobia buff ? Monstrous shrine "buff" ?
As i said in my 1st response to you before you started all this : both killers and survivors got good and bad changes. Get on with it
Boons were a major problem they made most of the Killer Roster useless because CoH was a counter to Hit and Run Killers, and if you committed to the chase you'll lose multiple Gens before the down. So yes until recently after the adjustments to CoH the game became better but the major issue with Boons is before the recent added Perk, Killers had no way to deal with them besides figuring out who the Boomer is and deal with them.
If the survivor with bt wasn't throwing themselves in between me and the unhooker then i wouldn't tunnel, since they're clearly showing their desire to go back on the hook

This perk is completely countered by a good headset since most killers use headset to hear anyway.
Even if iron will should have been nerfed there are other ways go do it with completely killing the perk. This change just killed a stealth playstyle

And how are boons a problem? You find, down and hook a survivor then repeat that 11 more times.
It could be bad only when you lose the chased injured survivor. Also them healing means not working on gens.

I've played as a killer more than enough, and iron will wasn't a problem for me. Ever. If I lose a surv then that's on me.
And yet i play both survivors and killers, so quit trying to discreditate people and accept the fact that you are wrong.

They nerfed IW in the wrong way imo. They should have replaced the Grunts of Pain with normal breathing and have it deactivated when exhausted.

Ngl they overnerfed IW. It should just get nerfed to 85% pain reduction and thats it.
The part about how IW is gonna be disabled while Exhausted is pure bs.
