Same add-on twice with different rarity?
The yellow Add On got buffed at some point, because I am pretty sure before you had to hit them to inflict Mangled.
Obviously this Buff makes the green Add On obsolete.
What are you talking about, both add-ons imply hitting your shot with your gun
They mean you had to reel them in and then hit them.
Rusted Spike's description is incorrect , you have to hit a survivor after spearing a survivor to inflict mangled
Nah, before it was:
yellow-->Hit with the Spear, reel in and M1.
green-->Hit with the Spear, let them break free.
And so it seems like they buffed the yellow Add On at some point (or the description is incorrect as @some_guy1 ) said so that you only have to hit them with a Spear.
Which makes the yellow Add On way better than the green one.
Just went to test this out in customs and indeed the description is wrong. The mangled effect does not apply when shot, only when reeled in and hit.
The yellow add-on is still better unless you are going for some hit-and-release playstyle

how am I supposed to know that "Redeemer's shots inflict Mangled" = "Nah bro u gotta reel and M1 them too".
My question is why change add-on's behaviour without changing it's description?
