game makes my gpu crash... or something

RovgardRovgard Member Posts: 1

I'll try to make this as detailed as possible so here we go: Sometimes whenever i enter a match, right before the loading screen my pc fans go full speed, my screen says "no signal" (though i still hear the game) and the only way to use my pc further is to restart it manually with the power button. This "error" is very inconsistent and sometimes appears in the first match i play while sometimes appearing in the 6th or 7th. Any help would be appreciated
Specs:
i5 8400
radeon rx 580
16gb ram
550W PSU

What temperatures is your card reaching when it is crashing? And although you said you have a 550W PSU - what brand etc, as sadly they are not all created equally and some of the cheaper brands do not output the specified power.

Are all your graphics drivers up to date?
