Spirit Fury+Enduring+Brutal Strength+Bamboozle. Guaranteed to work or you wasted millions of BP that you're not getting back. What do you think?

    Might have to try this

I mean, you will dominate chases, but you will have nothing to slow down gens or apply map pressure.

  • DelfadorDelfador Member Posts: 2,553

It is a great build if you hate loops but imo, killers need something to slow down the game.

Be it ruin, thana, sloppy etc.

Bamboozle prevents you dealing with bullshit setups and kills structures like shack or main buildings.

Instead of respecting pallets, with enduring, you can do more daring plays and even get a couple of lucky hits across the pallet without wasting your time.

Even if you don't get hits in that way, you waste pallets quickly and build up your spirit fury. In the past, wasting pallets only benefited chases after your first down but after the introduction of spirit fury, you can use those breaks in your favor and get easy hits or downs with spirit fury.

Brutal strength is not a bad perk but I would change it for something like sloppy butcher or ruin tbh. It is overkill imo.

Brutal strenght is not worth a whole slot, better using BBQ or ruin.

But I'm just thinking right now, you don't really need an anti pallet bruteforce build on 110% ms killers. Most can't counter it with M2 or am I missing something?

I use the bruteforce builds on 115% killers like Myers or wraith tho

I wanted to try it but I didn't. Seems kinda risky.

  • OrionOrion Member Posts: 11,721

I get it, you're worried you won't be able to slow down generators, but my thinking is, if you win chases in the time the devs want you to win them, you won't need to.

  • EvelineEveline Member Posts: 2,340

If you try it before me and have success with it let me know. It is interesting build.

  • The_CrusaderThe_Crusader Member Posts: 3,688

    Bait post?

I'm sure you know that you're not meant to go that route with 110% speed killers. Huntress doesn't play like that, Hag doesn't play like that, Spirit is all about fooling the survivors to get the hit in, only you-know-who is 110% speed and might benefit from an anti-loop playstyle.

But you knew this already, so now I'm curious why you're posting this lol

I'll need to unlock Bamboozle and Brutal Strength for all killers first. Someone else who has them unlocked might be able and willing to test it.

  • OrionOrion Member Posts: 11,721

Not bait. Why do you call everything you disagree with "bait"? If you don't like the 110% bit, then ignore it and just focus on the "anti-looping" bit.

  • HavelmomDaS1HavelmomDaS1 Member Posts: 1,948

Yeah I asked him what killer would benefit with that. I use Bruteforce builds only on 115% ms killers, never found it useful on 110%

  • EvelineEveline Member Posts: 2,340

Bamboozle was in the shrine last week you missed it. :P

    Good perk.

  • OrionOrion Member Posts: 11,721

I mainly use the shrine for BP. This build only occurred to me today.

I think it's fine for a looping build but on the overall grand scheme of the trial, I think you'll suffer in some areas which may turn out to work against you. Without a perk to slow down gens or at the very minimum a tracking perk, you're gonna have a rough time.

The time it takes for a 110% killer to traverse a map with no guarantee of finding a survivor is a pretty rough hit to take. You'd probably be better off swapping Brutal Strength with BBQ or Ruin. Brutal Strength is kind of an overrated perk IMO anyways, the time it saves is so minute.

I don't think anything, that's pretty much as anti-loop as you're gonna get currently.

  • The_CrusaderThe_Crusader Member Posts: 3,688

Because you've played the game long enough to know that most of the 110% speed killers aren't meant to be played in that way.

Anti-looping builds are more for the killers who can't do anything at loops.

  • PiiFreePiiFree Member Posts: 1,117

110% ms killers already have the power to handle loops, I don't see how they would require / profit from those perks...

  • tt_ivi_99tt_ivi_99 Member Posts: 1,257

110% Killers are those who can end chases faster thanks to their strong power (except Legion). Why you think Nurse is 96%ms? Because if you play her good there is no chase.

I dont think any killer with 110%ms need an anti-looping build tbh.

  • OrionOrion Member Posts: 11,721

I removed the 110% bit from the title so people focus on the build itself.

  • OrionOrion Member Posts: 11,721

And I thank you for it. Way too many people focusing on the details rather than the overall picture.

  • MasterMaster Member Posts: 10,208

The problem with spirit fury+enduring is that it can be easily countered by competent survivors. They simply drop the pallet shortly in front of you, still maximizing the ability of the loop but NOT stunning you, rendering you a 2-perk killer in exchange that survivors MAYBE can do one loop less per pallet.

Against solos you can use spirit fury multiple times against different survivors at least, but SWF will share the information after the first time.

Bamboozle is a must have on certain killer in my opinion, works like a charm on the shack e.g.

  • tt_ivi_99tt_ivi_99 Member Posts: 1,257

    @Orion

Enduring + Spiritual Fury is a perfect combo for any killer that cant combat looping (Leatherface, Billy, Wraith, Trapper).

Bamboozle is great for killers that already have tools to combat looping (Myers, Pig, maybe Clown/Doctor).

Never liked Brutal Strenght, it's kind of weak tbh.

  • George_SorosGeorge_Soros Member Posts: 2,270

I used this combo quite a few times (when I got sick of endless looping), but my experience is it's not worth it. Seems a very strong loop counter, sure, but unless you're using a killer with high mobility, it won't help you at all against genrush, and you still will be looped, just for a shorter time. Assuming you're up against experienced survivors, they just know to drop pallets earlier.

The only way it ever works out for me if, 1/ I find a survivor VERY early, and 2/ I down & hook the first one VERY early. That slows down gen time enough, especially if more than one comes for the rescue.

The annoying truth is that there isn't any perk build that beats high mobility. What's the most common trait of the three (arguably) strongest killers (Nurse, Billy, Spirit)? Yeah. Mobility.

One funny thing though, this build does work better against cocky loopers than proper, smart, stealthy survivors. A stealthy group can destroy the killer with such a build.

I'd be curious though if someone else has a different experience with this combo.

  • BossBoss Member, Trusted Posts: 7,103

    Kinda.

The entire last ranking season, no one consistently dropped the pallets early to counter SF.

  • BlueberryBlueberry Member Posts: 4,408

The only one of those that helps against looping is Bamboozle and that's only on windows. There are no perks to counter pallet looping. Effecting the pallet has nothing to do with why pallet looping is strong. This means breaking the pallet faster, less stun when you're hit by it, or hoping they get extra greedy and try to slam it on you with Spirit Fury don't help any of the real problem.

Put this build on Clown, Wraith or maybe pig.

Pig has a natural slow down ability so it could be good on her.
