Unhooked myself near the end of the 1st stage of being hooked then the second time it completed the sacrifice

This isn't a bug because I've had this happen as well. The cost of your attempt to escape the hook exceeded to the second stage even though it let you escape the hook. You waited too long to try to attempt and each attempt has a cost. Your attempt cost you more than you had so it put you on death hook. It doesn't happen a lot and the first time it happened to me I thought it was a bug too. I hope I've explained it well enough so you know why you were on death hook. I'm not the best at explaining lol. 🙂

Nah, this is a bug, hopefully the devs see this
