Does increased FOV make you faster?

I noticed with perks like Monitor and Abuse, I move faster with increased FOV, either it's my eyes or truly the game but with Shadowborn or Monitor and Abuse, I feel like a speed demon.

I think it's just because more things move across the screen at a time, and with the angle some seems faster. Like looking at the road lines vs the tree lines in a moving car. It's a visual perception thing.
It may make you feel faster, but you are moving at the same speed.
No. It's just an optical illusion due to how our brain perceives velocity.
Run it on legion and use frenzy, it looks like the fastest thing in the world and it scares me

LOL no, but it looks that way! It's just a perspective trick, like the one's where it shows you 2 lines and asks which is longer.
It's been on my Billy since the beginning, makes you feel like a crazy ass lunatic. Now I can't play without it 😎

Run Play with Your Food and use speed add ons for Billy with Shadowborn, anything movement speed increase based, you'll be a living hell on Earth, even with Leatherface.
