That everyone accepted that tunneling is okay

If you unhook someone and the killer turns around to you and the unhooked person, of course the unhooked person is the better target.

They're down a life and injured.

Yes it's frustrating. I play survivor too and I hate it. But stop yelling and spamming steam pages when it happens. It's the best choice.

    I doubt they'll care honestly.

It's fine to go after the injured survivor. I get it. It's when killers will wait until someone is unhooked to hit them instead of trying to keep the other survivor from the rescue, or not hitting other survivors who are in the path

If only Survivors weren't so dumb and actually thought about things during the game.

It is not that Survivors are dumb, it is that both Survivors and Killers are trained from the get-go that 4K = Win. I am not sure where that started, but Survivors yell and scream at killers because they either were targeted or they escaped. Killers only "Win" if they get a 4K so they tunnel and camp.

The thing is that both sides want to be the victor. Survivors understand but don't feel it is fair. Think of it like Spawn Camping in an FPS. Is it fair? No. Is it a valid Strategy? Yes. If the other team cannot get to you or cannot attack you they can never win. So as a Killer if you tunnel the same player off the hook you are eliminating the opposition's resource to defeat you.

So survivors are not dumb, they just dislike the tactics because it prevents them from "winning" or achieving their objectives and in this game, it is 4 people vs 1 person. While they may not win in the actual game they can team up and bully the 1 at any time. This is why they are frustrated, they become a mob against the killer.

To be fair, unless you're a really talented killer survivors are going to complain.

If you camp you suck. Patrol in the general area? You suck. Tunnel? You suck. Don't tunnel and as a result only get 1-2 kills? You suck. Kill no one? You suck. Kill everyone but use tactics or add on's they dislike? You suck.

Just play the game how you want to play and try to have fun! I would say to try and keep 'fun' in mind for the other people you're playing with too though. Like if you find a guy at the very start of the match, and he's never gotten a chance to do anything, because you're tunneling him the entire time, maybe don't tunnel him on his death hook? Give him a chance to at least play and have some fun, even if it's a suboptimal move.

You'll never please everyone in this game, but there's definitely a line between playing your way, and playing to ruin other people's enjoyment of the game.

I agree 100%!! To expect everyone to be happy with your play when you just killed them is an unreasonable expectation some people WILL get upset with you no matter what! But was how you did it skillful or cheap? Some of my favorite games I dont honestly remember if I was one of the ones that made it out or not, I just remember being a factor and the only times I get upset is when someone does something cheap and unfair like down me before my feet hit the ground when that was some other players choice to take me down and I never had a say in any of it. like the other guy said, remember this is a game and is supposed to be fun for all of us, if we ruin the fun for the other side the other side will simply stop playing and we'll all lose then.

It depends what you mean by tunnelling. Going after a recently unhooked survivor, especially when they were unhooked when you were right there (ie. an unsafe hook, the fault of their teammate playing badly and not the person who was on the hook, and who had no say in the matter) is rather unsportsmanlike, but as you say, a reasonable course of action considering the killer's goal and purpose. So it sucks, but it's okay.

However, the kind of tunnelling where the killer hard-focuses one person, continuing to chase them even when there are more viable targets and ignoring other survivors even when they're literally right in front of the killer, is just unsportsmanlike. There's no strategic or practical reason for doing it, it's just being merciless for the sake of it. I don't agree that that kind is okay, and a killer who does that deserves a reprimand in post-game chat.

On the other hand, it occurs to me as I'm writing this that there may be one good reason for the second kind which is that under the new system, killers are punished for being in a chase that doesn't end in the survivor being downed. I don't know if this is the case if the chase ends because the killer enters a chase with a different survivor. If the killer is punished for that, they shouldn't be, and it's not unreasonable for them to tunnel in that case. If they're not, see paragraph 2.

If you complain about tunelling, go get better 'cuz you fuckin' suck. You can take advantage of it but you are crying like a baby instead. Keep cryin'. My kill count keep going up with you noobs.

Survivors always play the smart ass, and then cry when they get caught. Killer job is to kill, stop complain about a killer who does his job. Do yours and shut the [BAD WORD] up.

What kind of dumb killer will go for the distraction when he can get the kill. Dry your eyes crybabies, there will be another game...

That's the dumbest thing I read. Go play another game, don't need any crybabies. Or do you job and survive. I will let my kill go just because everyone must have fun in a game?? [BAD WORD] your fun, not there for that at all. A killer is here to kill.

I played 3 games yesterday as a survivor. I got killed, but no need to come and cry on the game's forum. Y'all just a bunch of ''diaper is full'' crybabies.

Survivors run back to the gen they repaired already too instead of repairing a new one.
Why should the killer switch his targets and intentionally paly unefficient?

I personally love playing killer and I'm very good at it. I never get messages because I don't camp or tunnel. If you need to do that (which I consider training wheels) then maybe you don't need the wins so your killer level doesmt match against survivors that beat you. Camping and tunneling is weak so if you need to do that to win then maybe you should try a different game because you're unskillful.

Youve said nothing constructive in any post you've made on the forums since you made your account. You are the literal definition of what is wrong with the player base. Too quick to throw insults and nothing constructive to bring to the table.

Honestly, if I get hit right off the hook most of the time it's my teammates fault for rushing to get me before the killer has spotted someone else. I try and stay on gen for a at least 10-15 seconds before I attempt a hook rescue, but inevitably someone is already crouched behind a rock ready to spring forward and save the minute the killer turns around. The only time I despise the tunnel and think it is unfair when the killer literally does nothing until you're unhooked. No one else gets hit or chased, no gens kicked, maybe they walk in a circle and run back to you the minute your feet hit the ground. I've never used DS before because I thought it was unfair, but with the new change I just might.

Also, let's not act as if survivors AND killers don't complain on the forums.
