At 0:35 A team is observing the endgame countdown activate when they have to do 4 gens end no one is dead (so no hatch)... Are we agree that the killer can open a door only when generators are done or when the hatch can be closed by him ? Not before ?! (I've paste the timer on the following link)
How will this affect end game perks?
Will animations change depending on what health state you are in(Healthy,Injured, Deep wounds, dying)?
Is there any extra point actions with the end game collapse?
If all generators are blocked by the Entity and cannot be repaired when Hatch appear, Left Behind get reworked?
Can the killer 99 the door?
My question is related to Dead By Daylight's lore:
Benedikt Baker quote: "It (the Entity) does not seem to be dangerous in itself."
Question: How does the new end game fit the lore when the Entity itself suddenly kills survivors? What does the Entity need the killers for?
Sorry if this was asked already. What's to prevent a killer from blocking the basement stairs and trapping survivors in the basement and waiting out the timer for kills?
If the end game starts upon the hatch being closed, but you can't repair gens in the end game, what do you do once the hatch has been closed?
If the hatch only spawn for the last survivor, how will the where did they go achievement be possible?
To avoid some confusion, I'll just answer this now. That was just a debugging command used for demonstration purposes. That won't happen in a normal game.
Can you make the basement dramatically dissapate (or otherwise be blocked off) so troll-y killers can't body block the basement during the collapse? (Although it's still a problem DURING the trial)
How is the killer expected to see scratch marks if the floor is red like that?
Since it starts when a gate is open, that could be a little late to start. Amazing visuals, but maybe start the collapse after the last gen is done? People can open the door and have plenty of time to teabag for ages. Since it doesn't take place until after gates are powered, my question is will there be a bloodwarden buff to compliment this?
Since all survivors will die after 3 minutes after a gate is opened it seems like some killer abilities/perks can become powerful in the end game. How will interactions like Blood Warden and Pig's RBTs work?
Will it take the killer the same amount of time (compared to a survivor) to open the exit gate?
The key (which is an ultra rare object) will therefore become useless? As the skill left for dead.
So the only reason for this is just to motivate survivors to leave right away instead of hanging around and t-bagging at the exit gates? No.. extra objectives or.. anything?
Because NOED will stay the same, will we get a totem counter?
My question is probably more lore related than anything.
What made the Entity decide to interfere with the maps, killers and survivors after being dormant for so long? We've also seen the Entity aid the killers a few times in recent months (the Plauges generator lock perk and to a longer extent Freddy's gate-locking perk), but now it seems to want to take matters into its own hands!
I'd love for some more lore on the Entity!
Doing zero gens but can escape the hatch? Sorry but seems broken AF
I see myself selfish all toxic and trolling as surv, doing zero gens, waiting everyone to die just to find hatch and escape
And if the hatch is closed you can't do gens to escape with zero gens cuz gens are blocked, broken too, so ppl will just DC
can you change the animation for more ragdoll effect and more vicious like in jaws?
Are we gonna get some related cosmetics with the end game patch? Since we got no chapter cosmetics...
This is important for new players, will this new end game collapse be explained and demonstrated in the tutorial for killer and survivor?
-So if the killer closes the hatch, the gens are blocked and the exit gates are automatically powered. So the remaining survivor/s can ONLY escape by opening a gate or using a key?
-If the killer closes the hatch to start the collapse, end game perks (like NOED and remember me and blood warden) will activate?
Will the hatch now spawn wide open no matter how many survivors are left?
So let's say that is one survivor remaining and 5 generators remaining. Now the hatch will open. If the killer close the hatch, the survivor will need to do all the 5 gens to escape, or once the hatch is open (in this situation) will start the end game phase too? And this question to be answered, first we need to know : After the hatch has been closed by the killer, the survivor(s) can open it (like cleanse a totem, i mean a timer and without a key). Thank you for picking my question! Much love !
What was the thought process behind creating this new endgame and what were the previous iterations of it that didn't make the cut?
How will the Endgame deal with Survivors simply camping the exit gate and waiting for the Killer to close the hatch? If the Killer risks looking at a gate, the last Survivor may run for the hatch, but if the Killer closes it, the camping Survivor freely gets out.
Now we have a new standoff, the Hatch/Gate standoff where the Killer and last Survivor stay far away from each other. Survivors will just camp the gate and wait for the Killer to get impatient and power the gate FOR them. This still gives survivors a free win.
