Which killers do Jake and Claudette belong to?

UnitUnit Member Posts: 190
After watching a video of each of the trailers I noticed that all the survivors had a killer except for Toxic and Camped, oh sorry Jake and Claudette.

Dwight-Wraith
Meg-Hillbilly
Nea-Nurse
David King-Huntress
Ace-Hag
Feng Min-Doctor
Laurie-Michael
David Tapp-Pig
Quinten--Freddy
Kate-Clown
Jake-Trapper??
Claudette-Trapper??

Back in the day it was only Trapper with the four original survivors. So actually the question should be:
Where are the survivors bound to Wraith and Hillbilly?

I generally consider Dwight to be a standalone, Meg to correspond with Trapper, Claudette with Wraith, and Jake with Hillbilly. Also, Bill (who I don't see on your list, might just be going past him) is also a standalone, but I pair him with Leatherface because he is a standalone killer and both are licensed. There is one more Survivor than Killer, so one of the originals doesn't have a killer.

    To me, its:

    Jake-Trapper because saboteur.
    Meg-Hillbilly because of sprint burst.
Claudette-Wraith because she's a medic and he can track blood.

    Dwight's a free bird.

Dwight is linked to all killers, he's the survivor Prometheus.

As far as we know, none of the survivors were connected to killers previous to being in the realm, except for Laurie and Quinten.

I always thought it goes like this:
    Meg and Dwight-Trapper,
    Jake-Wraith,
    Claudette-Hillbilly.
If it goes about Wraith and Hillbilly, I think their maps are keys. I just can't unsee Jake wandering around Autohaven Wreckers, while looking for some useful tools and Claudette hiding in a cornfield trying to stop her big urge of taking a closer look on plants that somehow can grow in this strange realm.

    Only one survivor matters...Laurie.
    Stalking intensifies!

  • The devs mention on a stream that all the survivors are currently alive and that the realm of the Entity is like a bubble and they eventually come together and come apart. I don't think the four OGS are linked to anyone because they were around way before our little friends were. Now, the newer killers are linked to certain survivors. Feng and the doctor. Kate Denson & The Clown. As said, Alex, Virgo, benedict( which is also theorize to be an agent of the Entity) were at one point together and benedict has met the other survivors yet they got split due to the realm change and now benedict is other spying on other survivors or dealing with his own killer( probably both) while Alex and other mention in the lore are in their own bubble. The devs said this bubble will connect at some point AGAIN.

I personally believe at this point, The Entity may lead a survivors to a way out just to have them cut off, feeding off their hope (which it does) and making them eventually into killers due to being forever trapped in the realm or make a mistake and they do escape but a few.

Amanda was connected to Tapp in the films.
Nea was connected to the Nurse - she burned down the asylum.
In the trailer of the newest chapter, we see Kate scared of the Clown's bottle, so I assume they may be somehow connected, also they both were travelling "entertainers".

i think Claudette to wraith because he don't really want to kill them and Claudette has a lot of empathy
jake perhaps with trapper.since he can sabotage his traps. not the best argument....

If you linked them via trailer, then Jake and Claudette should be with the trapper, since every time you start the game a video shows them being annihilated by the trapper

Personally I do believe that there is a way out of the realm. Maybe survivors just have to find the Entity's weakness and kill it?

I believe that the Entity would put survivors into trials with killers that counter them.

I believe Dwight and Leatherface are put together as despite both of them being nervous they fulfill their roles. That and Bubba's Chainsaw destroys clusters of survivors, (that Dwight creates.)

I'd see Meg and Trapper together as Meg is known for being a runner and bear traps counter sprint burst hard. That and Meg's lore involves running into some woods, perhaps Shelter Woods?

Jake I would put with Wraith as the Wraith's tracking perkss trump Jake's evasion perks.

Claudette I would put with Hillbilly as a successful saw blade hit can deny a Self-Care before it starts.

The rest of the survivors are paired with their respective chapter buddies as they all pair together well. Remember, the Entity wants the survivors to have hope so that it can consume it. Therefore the Entity would want to pair up survivors with opponents that they could potentially overcome, but not always overcome.

Not sure about Meg. I always paired her with the Hillbilly since they both have a sprint burst (Billy’s chainsaw sprint).

This was posted a long time ago, still, I’d like to give my opinion.

I feel like Dwight, Jake, Meg and Claudette are all linked to Evan aka the Trapper, as they are the first 5 characters to be released. That kinda makes sense, as it‘s a 1:4 game. So in my opinion, Hillbilly and Wraith don‘t have their own survivors and were only added because there was no range in killers. It‘s said that survivors get sucked into the realm, when they get too close to the place where the killers was too. When you compare the last entries of these 4 survivors, the places where they were last seen sound pretty similar to me. So this makes perfect sense. They were probably all near the MacMillan Estate, map of the Trapper and therefore the place where the entity got him.

    Does this make sense?

I'm not big on geography but the MacMillan Estate is said to be located in the town of Weeks near Wetherfield somewhere in America?

Now Meg, Dwight and Jake are all american.Ok, Jake is not fully american but still he was born in America.I can understand how they were pulled at the MacMillan into the entity.

    But...

That leaves us with the only original character who is not american, which is Claudette. She is said to be canadian who was once raised in Montreal, but she left the big city when she got an early scholarships for a great college. But she was still in Canada.

Some people also say that the MacMillan estate is located near Seattle which is a city in the United States.

So how was Claudette near the estate when she was in another country not relevant to the estate?

Jake is a survivor that can live of the land, so I'm quite sure that trapper is the best option as he turns the grass and plants into a survivor's disadvantage. Also yes saboteur

  • MerGirl2003MerGirl2003 Member Posts: 110

The location of Claudette’s college is never actually mentioned in the lore as far as I know, it’s possible that the college she attends is near the MacMillan estate.
