Currently, survivors are able to see killers perks, items, etc. once they are sacrificed. This means they are able to tell the rest of their team what the killer is using, effectively giving a huge advantage over end game perks. Would you consider changing this, so that all perks/add-ons/etc are only visible to players once the match has ended?

This is something we've wanted to do for a long time. It's in the task list but we don't know when we are going to be able to get to it.

    Can we please hide killer perks from dead survivors until the match is over? SWF groups tend to call out perks like NOED, and Blood Warden to their team, completely nullifying any end-game strategy.

    Do you guys have any plans to remove the pallet vaccum?

    Yes! We want to have the animation and timing changed so the action is slower (no more clipping) and more readable from the killer's standpoint. Instead of a fast vaccum, the survivor would have a longer running animation in which he would be locked. Sadly, we don't have the scope of this change yet so it means there is no ETA but this is the solution we are exploring.

    Could we get more diversity in who presents the Weekly Dev Streams? It's no secret that MCote isn't the best person at all topics and when we had Dave (right name?) last week rather than Not Queen, it was a nice change up.

    Not that Not Queen and/or MCote are bad per se, but it's nice to have some more diversity.
    Personally I'd quite like to see both Not Queen and Dave present a stream at some point if possible.

    We are currently looking into changing the Dev stream format! We already have tons of ideas for improvement but it will take a bit of time to implement.

    We will also survey the Community about what they are expecting from the streams. Ultimately, we want to strip the stream of some elements and make sure the Community can get their answers elsewhere in order to have a more positive live experience.

    Will there ever be an option for killers to have the screen go black/grey instead of bright white when blinded? i shouldn't have to experience actual physical discomfort when getting blinded in a game

    Can you please address the recent loss of progress wave that has occured? Many of us have lost 1000's of hours of progress despite your team saying on stream that you had a new system in place to counteract this. I for one have been waiting for two weeks for my progress to be restored.

    We are really sorry your experience has been hindered by that issue. We have recently pushed a lot of small patches that will help resolving these issues and our team is currently monitoring closely the results. In the meantime, the Customer Support team has a 2 weeks backlog which I am afraid is caused by a rise in ticket creation. That would explain the wait that you have been experiencing.

    How come there are no end of season rewards?

    Aren't you concerned that ranking up only makes games harder and therefore awards less blood points, means that players are actually incentivised to tank their rank?

    The end of season rewards is something we wanted to do for a while. Sadly, we currently don't have enough resources to make this happen in an immediate future and we have no system to grant rewards accordingly.

    As for the ranking up system, we have a PTB on PC this week (March 15th to March 19th) to test the new Emblem system, tell us what you think!

    Is the fact that Freddy targets awake survivors over asleep survivors intentional? In certain circumstances, i can get completely screwed over because I'll be body blocked by an asleep and awake survivor, and I won't be able to do anything because my attack will automatically prioritise the awake one.

    This was intended at launch but with what we experienced since then, we consider it would be better if we revert this mechanic. Which is why right now it is logged as a bug in our system and will be fixed when we get to it.

    Will we see any Freddy buffs or a rework soon? He is arguably the worst killer in the game and that's a shame given how iconic he is. Can you guys atleast acknowledge the issue and give a timeline on when he will be fixed?

    We have a ton of ideas to improve Freddy gameplay experience but right now we do not have the resources to implement them.

    Potential ideas are to remove the SelfCare skill checks from the ''waking up'' action, buff the base power and / or work on action interrupts.

    How thoroughly are builds play tested before greenlit?

    The two updates during the event infamously broke flashlight and pallet stun mechanics while also screwing up sounds that persist to the current build. Are there any steps to prevent this in the future?

    After these 2 patches, we have been doing a lot of internal changes to our processes and our workflow which should prevent that kind of issues in the future.

    Have you considered changing sprint burst? Killers like The Pig, Wraith really suffer because of this perk because they can't get their first surprise hit. Killers don't get rewarded for using their power correctly because of this perk.

    Some ideas for Sprint Burst: Shorter duration, lower the speed boost % and / or prevent the exhaustion regen while in chase.

    Other than working on improving the hatch-game, what other changes do you have planned for Killers as a whole?

    At the moment I feel that Killers only have one or two builds to be competitive, with many of their perks either being must-haves or worthless. Survivors have plenty to put a thorn in the side of the Killer they face, whether they're in the chase or out of it.

    Pallet rework, animation lenght review, bug fixes (scratch marks, sounds, killer specific issues), end game situations, survivor meta perks, items, etc.

    There is a lot to do, it will take time, but we are very aware of the issues.
