Because if they don't get something to make up for Ghostface being alone queue times for killers are about to be a disaster.
I'm excited for Ghostface, i expected him to be solo since the leak but solo killers are never a good idea for matchmaking reasons.
The 31st stream will likely answer this but as of right now things are not looking good for killers next month from a QoL standpoint.

Would be nice if they started looking at giving people a BP bonus when playing in the queue that needs more players.
You just got ash in Feburary? Killers didn't get anything then...Ash also came with MoM and some cosmetics, and more cosmetics are on the way for surviors too. I think its fine if surviors sit this one out. But I do want this to be a chapter with a map and survior but it doesn't seem likely, but maybe a map and GF? That could be nice

He's stating that since only a Killer is going to be released, more players will be playing Killer which means that the queue times for Killers will be longer than normal due to everyone trying to play as Ghost Face.

If you release JUST a killer everyone will jump to JUST killer queues making the game literally unplayable.
With survivors its fine because you need 4 survivors to 1 killer.
So survivor queue times should be fine.
PS4 solo survivor queue times should get better for the month.

Its alright people will try him out for a little while and if they don't like him they will switch back. At first que's might be a little longer but they are already long so whats a few extra minutes?
You already did get something, you got Ash. Ghostface is literally just making it even.
@Blueberry A survivor dlc from months ago isn't going to combat the rush of Ghostface queues in June.
I am sure they'll put more skins in the shop for you to buy.
Neither was survivor que's when Ash was released.
@Blueberry It doesn't matter with survivors though since you need more of them anyway.
No one playing survivor will hurt the queues.

Well, now it's possible to have a Claudette with Botany Knowledge to put 3 plants on her.
And Fat Man Jeff can now a cake on him.
So I feel like that's totally enough compensation for Survivors.

You need more survivors but there are way less killers.

It won't affect it any more than Ash did.
Killer queues will be bad for a week or two. By then everyone tested the new killer and things go back to normal.
We've seen that happen with every killer release. This won't be any different.
@Tsulan I think it'll be worse this time. Bad queues for those 2 weeks typically have a survivor people are trying out as well.
@Bbbrian2013 I dont think it will hurt the times at all. Survivors outnumber killers. I can't see a bunch of survivor mains saying, oh well I didn't get a survivor this chapter, well shucks guess I'll be playing the ghost till another chapter release. I wouldn't be worried at all.
On ps4 I mainly play killer and I fill a lobby in less than a minute, when I do want to play some survivor its anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes.
