Too Easy To Pip

I've just reached rank 8. But I haven't depipped a single match, often getting iridescent lightbringer and the evasion one. But yet I feel like I don't deserve to be at this rank, given the amount of times I've actually died... I reached Rank 8 long ago when bloodpoints were used to pip. But just looking at the rank feels pointless as it doesn't feel earned. Like I don't belong at such a level. Does anyone else feel this way about pipping as a survivor, that it's too easy?

    People asked for this.
They served back the easy mode.
The killer's queues were actually taking AGES before this change because, for some reasons, survivors did not manage to rank up efficiently.

Wait until you get to 7 and under, you get matched with a lot more idiots and griefers and pipping is pretty difficult. Although time of day/night played seems to be a difference maker also.

    Hard for Survivior to pip.

    Easy for Killer to pip.

Killer queues end up taking forever.

You don't think this was a problem?

"Hard for survivor to pip" is very debatable. It was very doable, and even myself, a very average surv, easily got to rank 1. People just refused to adapt/learn how emblems worked very likely, while still cared about pipping.

Also, pipping as killer wasn't that easy.

Killer queues were the main issue. I guess most survivors are just too terrible at the game and "deserve" to have a easy way through.

Didn't start getting too hard until Rank 2

...Then I sweapped out Small Game and two of my other perks for SB and SC. Ez Rank 1

This system makes me embarrassed sometimes. Seems by trying to attract both hardcore competitive and casual sides, they had to cut a lot of corners to accommodate the easy going players.

Well people were complaining about it being too hard to pip as survivor and they fixed and I love it, it's sooooooo much easier now, but I like to stay at low ranks because I heard on console at high ranks there tends to be more campers that's what I've heard don't know if it's true or not though.

Both killer and survivor is easy to pip until you reach the ranks where players play as efficient as possible, i.e. a proper genrush. At this rank the killer will depip/blackpip and the survivor will blackpip/pip most of the games

The emblem system might be fine at low ranks but fact is that gentime is way too low in order to get emblems in that time

I'm starting to feel the same way. I started playing with friends recently and got up to rank 3 and when I play solo I still maintain the rank and even continue to pip but it does leave me wondering if I really should be up in red rank.

    yep, the rank is screwed

    Agreed.

Rank 1 here and all my fellow survivors still don't know how to play. I've resorted to only playing in SWF cause it's just frustrating.

Finally someone who understands my pain lol. I'm left wondering whether some of these are bought and or shared accounts because I've seen rank 2's run around like they're playing at rank 20.

Nah. I think it is very balanced at the moment. If anything, they could make it slightly easier to pip for killer and leave survivor alone.

All in all it is fine. Killer's should have a easier time pipping than survivors anyways. It's a game where you're supposed to die.

At the moment it does seem better. I was having games where I was getting 14-17k and just barely not pipping. Like 1 emblem grade up from pipping. Now that doesn't happen too much anymore. I'd say overall it is balanced out.
