I hope DS stays the same. It's the only, the greatest anti-tunneling perk at the moment and it's stuck for MANY behind a pay wall.
Enduring wasn't quite nerfed, it was changed. Previously it increased stun recovery by 75%. Now it reduces stun time by 50%. With the way it's calculated, it's actually faster than before.
1 / 1.75 = 1.14 <--- Before
2 * (1 - 0.5) = 1 <--- After
So pallet stuns are now even shorter, but it doesn't affect perks. This allows us to better control the stun time for perk based stuns without needing to crank them up to 11 just in case the killer has enduring.
DS got a major nerf to only apply for essentially tunnel off hooks. However, I do believe that the timer they get for 'immunity' persay be shortened. There are several times I came back and re-found the recently unhooked survivor again and got stunned closer to the minute side later. In addition I found that in some cases they try to find you and get in your way so they can pull the stun off even though you didn't tunnel. That or like Borrowed Time be distance based. Ie killer is within say 28 meters away. I say 28 because that is nurses calling range.
Right, but wasn't the stun time for DS changed at one point due to Enduring? Why not revert the change now that Enduring no longer affects DS?
It shouldn't affect ds, it's an anti tunnel perk.
If you go after the same unhooked survivor you deserve the 5 second stun.
He's referring to the stun time on DS being increased because of Enduring previously. However now that Enduring isn't affecting DS that it stun time should be lowered slightly to compensate seeing as the stun time was originally increased because of Enduring. At least that was the impression people got when the explanation for increasing the DS stun time was given on the stream.

Well..........I mean, why? There are in some situations where I get tunneled off hook for more than a minute, I do my best to avoid the killer, and coincidentally right when I get downed again, DS isn't there to help anymore. Some will say, well you lasted that long, but eh....
It sucks being the only one targeted sometimes.
After work, I can record my 2 matches on console that I get to have in a span of 4 hours because queue times are terrible and show you, it's an anti-tunneling perk.
please crank down DS from 5 seconds back to 3 seconds, since as you said you needed to crank it up to 11 to make it balanced vs enduring.
edit: downvotes prove you just want an op stun time since they buffed it with good reason because of enduring but now it no longer effects it and you don't want it to change
sounds like you are terrible at the game from what you describe here. doesnt mean the game needs to be balanced around rank 20's

How about reducing the DS stun time now that Enduring dosent affect it anymore? In the past the stun time was buffed so that enduring could affect it now that it dosent anymore the stun time should be reduced again.
tbh, pre Buff Stun Time was not really useful, even without Enduring, because the animation took away 1/3 of it.
During the PTB where they changed DS, it was not really useful to me, because I almost never got tunneled off Hook. Same when I tested it on the Live Server, and then it was too short.
Will need to test the time now on PTB and see what it does....
Because this game is balanced around braindead potatoes. That's why.
