Sorry but teamwork ONLY works for swf. The whole overly altruistic team mentality (everyone HAS TO ESCAPE) even stems from it.
But as just mentioned before, teamwork only lasts as long the round is going your way or theres one sucker to milk dry for unhook points. As soon as things go south, those precious little teamplayers will turn into hatch circling vultures waiting for each other to die so they can get it themselves.
Because deep down, people know that its not about helping others, its about getting out yourself.
Damn i sound like a villain.
puts on "make Killers great again"-cap and chainsaws away😂
This is from the same person who posted that they want more perk slots for the game. Low quality bait folks.
with the EGC, unsportsman like happens: intentionally bodyblocking, intentionally failed skilledcheck when healing others, pointing at the team mates
no sir, that is not griefing, that is not working with the killer, no banning excuses!
that is the new direction DBD is going after EGC, the way to surviving is competition also!
@hahugow that happened even before the ECG. Also How can you be so sure about failling skillchecks? And if it's intentional then yes is grieffing, because the whole point is to help each other as a team. ECG only was made to prevent taking the killer as a hostage, nothing changed.
No thanks. There are already plenty of ways in game to compete with other survivors. Creating perks for it would be dev sanctioned greifing.
Don't forget diversion
For something like this to work, all killers would have to be incredibly threatening to persuade most players to out their teammates. It wouldn't work in the game as it stands.
call it griefing, but if I need to fail a skill check intentionally to get my last mate killed, I will do, so I can escape through the hatch
bored vets surely liked this idea of having a couple of surv competition perks
I see your innaccurate and pessimistic predictions while that will increase the fun
the "how" to implement a balance it is a duty for the devs, we can't develop so simply methods
Interesting idea, however as toxic as the DBD survivor community already is I think it's the last thing the game needs. DBD is an assymetric 4v1 game.... Not 1v1v1v1v1. There's nothing wrong with self-preservation, but Survivors should not be rewarded for screwing over other survivors.
This guy gets it.
Since this is a team game (four players), it's more of a wolf pack. Everyone has different things they specialize in, but everyone should be mostly able to do everything. The more left alive, the more likely you'll survive, so it really isn't a competition against each other.
I don't know how you play but I am having VERY strong competitions to be the last survivor to escape through the hatch
My lovely "team" on porpose bodyblock me to killer catches me, does not unhook while they t-bag, leave me with 99% healed and ofc fail skill check when healing to alert the killer
Is it a competition? I wish a had surv vs surv perks to destroy them and escape~~
no thanks this game is already toxic enough
"You can only fight toxicity with toxicity"
Darn this game is full of Ned Flanders lol
It's a messy team, but it's still a team. /a group of players forming one side in a competitive game or sport./ Your goal as a team is to get out against a killer trying to kill you. It isn't to kill off the team around you. That's the killer's job.
Does that happen often? I do believe that's against the rules. Purposefully griefing someone is against the rules. I personally see it as a loss if I can't get at least one other person out with me. Are you sure they were failing skill checks on purpose? It may have been an accident.
Far from being annoyed, this was ãctually really funny, although my enjoyment wouldn't be completed without these surv vs surv perks~~
