Legion doesn’t need a rework after all...

But Deep Wound does.
Seriously, the entire concept of this status effect is so absurd. Deep Wound, from day one, has been a weird mechanic introduced into the game, and it should really just receive an entirely new reworked effect. The perk is more Survivor-sided than Killer. It should really be reviewed and changed as soon as possible. The mechanic is a joke, just like Deep Sleep was before Freddy got his rework. (Ironic they both start with ‘Deep’, huh?)

Just take deep wound completely out of the game. Make it to where if you get hit by legions power it puts you in a broken status effect for like 15-20 seconds. Simple.
Make legion a better version of plague
Its practically the same as that, except Deep wound is safer for the Survivors, so who knows where that could go. Maybe it could cause Exhaustion too for a brief duration?
I don't think a killers power should negate a perk but maybe while broken it could slow the survivors down a bit as well
I don't think Survivors perks should negate a Killer's power either, cough cough OoO and GF, cough cough
To be fair, devs will add a new status effect just to protect stealth killers against OoO.
Very glad for it. However, things like the DS, Unbreakable and Dead Hard build that I've been seeing recently are putting Killers into a no win scenario. Bill saves Meg off the hook. Bill gets downed and put on the hook, Meg comes in for the save. You can't grab her, because of DS and you can't slug her because of the emblem penalty to Chaser AND because of Unbreakable and Dead Hard. I also ran into some idiot using the infinite Dead Hard exploit with that build, but that isn't the point.
That actively makes his ability worse since then no one wastes time mending.

Well survivors perk shouldn't be negated either by a killers power but shouldn't also be able to overpower a killer I know there's a downside to alot of the op perks but it should be a strategy on what to use not just throw a bunch of op perks on and demolish an opponent. Doesn't matter if it's a killer or a survivor.
What if the broken status effect is there when you're in the TR and then when you escape you still have to mend?
So just make survivors broken AND have deep wounds at the same time? How would that change anything? Broken doesn't stop you from being able to mend.
Broken means you can't heal or mend yourself. I mean I am just throwing out ideas. What would you suggest?

No I'm saying for it to stop mending as well. I should of worded it differently.
Well then they have to rework no Mither too. And even then it's not like it makes it anymore threatening at all. Frankly it just needs to take longer while also not being extensively boring for survivors.
Well after the mend they still need to heal. So it's going to take 2-3 minutes for survivor(s) to get fully healed and that's without the mending time increase add-ons so if it's to take longer than they should take the length of mending add-ons out of the game and just make it a power ability. So it's just a base amount of time that can't be altered with add-ons.
Dude your idea doesn't lengthen anything, it only makes survivors have to wait a short amount of time to mend, which Survivors do already, and they can just work on gens until then. Really, Legions ability as a whole is bad and any attempt to make it stronger comes with the downside of either being exploitable or making it a miserable time for survivors.
I'm saying just give it a base amount of time to where both killers and survivors both feel like it's fair. As a survivor making it 30-45 seconds feels alright. But how about every time they get hit with the power the mending time increases by 5 or so seconds. So if it starts off at say 20 seconds by the third hit it's up to 35 seconds and continues to get longer every hit.
Unfortunately there will never be a base amount of time both sides feel is fair. Considering Legion is already deeply boring to face, I honestly think his kit is a lost cause without a rework.
Not really I honestly like the idea of increasing mending time the more you hit them and maybe increase movement speed as well.
