thats realistically what these addons should be. I love killer things like scratched mirror myers, and shoe hag, addons that are more focused on changing the way you play, rather than static buffs, so I'm thrilled to see survivors now getting some similar little oddities.
I actually love this. Paired with perks like sole survivor, OOO, d strike, MoM etc on a broken key could lead to being able to use obsession perks without garunteeing yourself to be the obsession. It also gives aura reading on the obsession which is hugely nice, as even just having one constant aura on an ally can always be useful. I wonder if there's any more add-ons or items added....
I kinda think keys which can open the hatch should sparkle or have a little glimmer on them. Ordinary keys which do not open the hatch should have a solid colour with no sparkle or glimmer. It would help the killer distinguish whether it's something to worry about or not. Survivors with aura reading keys would therefore be less likely to be tunneled for having a key.
i like that it decreases the chance of being the obsession... but you can still be the obsession... so what use is this if you are the obsession? seeing my own aura seems rather useless especially for an ultra rare.
Why didn't they just make it so that you can't be the obsession when using it? I mean, if you become the obsession, then wouldn't this addon be completely useless?
It probably basically does this, but they have to say moderately reduced because if everyone runs a "you can't be the obsession" addon then people will go spare because they used an ultra that didn't stop them being obsession.

It's PTB or your making? Add-on or an offering? For killer or a surv? I guess, for a surv.
So channeling a key with that add-on reveals the obsession to the killer and decreases the chance that person is you?

Nope, this addon is true.
This add on is not worth being ultra rare at all.
I generally don’t care who the obsession is not whether I become or will become the obsession . This sounds like a brown add on at best.
Might have to do with new obsession mechanics incoming. Not sure if it's related but Dying Light got a change in the PTB patch notes.

Ive used it, you dont have to channel to see the obsession, you just always see them if you have the key

I guess because it always shows the location of the survivor without using the keys channel stuff, so it's essentially perm bond on one survivor.
