I was stoked for this perk but 24m radius is just... Meh.
Think about it. It's already semi random. Good survivors can already play around it and take you away from relevant generators. Is it worth running over the consistency that Pop has?
I think it should be 32m again to increase your odds of getting relevant generators damaged.

I think some of y'all are having a hard time understanding the whole "numbers are not yet final" bit. this change in particular peanits actually explained in pretty good detail earlier. It might end up going back, but they opted to test it in this form on the ptb for now.

basically Peantis said they changed it because if you get to a situation where theres only 3 gens left, and theyre all close to each other, then Surge becomes very powerful. it also becomes more powerful on smaller maps like The Game. i get it for the small map thing, kinda, but for the 3 gens thing? thats on the survivors for getting themselves in that situation.
Good thing most maps are 'effing huge, then.
You could slightly nerf the perk and then apply it to all gens being worked on. Almost like a real 'surge' of power. The entire map is hit by it.
yeah, hence my "kinda"... theres definitely more big maps than small. i still feel Surge should be killer's terror radius.
I rather not. It'd make the king of 3 genning, the Doctor, even stronger.

32 standard is better, it lets small radius killers have presence

They do but the passive regression will be immediately canceled.
The perk shouldn't be nerfed that harshly just because of some edge cases like 3 gens and The Game. That is only 2 scenarios out of 100s.
It should be map wide. Or every gen the Demogordon has kicked in the last 120 seconds gets kicked when you down a survivor. even if that gen is being worked on. And if a survivor is working on a gen when surge aactivates they get injured.
