Due to latency issues in the PTB, we have decided to postpone the server hit validation test until after the update releases on the live version of the game. We will let you know when the test will take place as soon as we can. Thank you all for your patience.

Show other survivors perks, offerings as well

We should be able to see what perks our fellow survivors will bring into the trial so we can coordinate better and this will also make matches more fun. With this information, half of the team can bring borrowed time and the other two can do gens. This is just one example of how this would benefit people that que solo.

But it could also exasperate lobby dodging.

If i’m going solo and want to run No Mither in my build, I don’t want other survivors dodging just because of their silly preconceptions about No Mither.

  • No mother is terrible anyways so yea that’s a great reason to have this.

Think so it is a great idea, but then buff killers too, coz knowing of other survs perks make them ATOMIC stronger (just look at defference between solo and swf). But if developers will make it AND also killers take buff, the hole between solo and swf comes closer to balance. Also im sure so add the voice right in game AND rebalance killers with looking at this new option will finish most all actual autistic disbalance.

I see good things to this like; more cooperative teams, combining perks or even being a certain role depending on your team and even more good things i can't think of. The bad is lobby dodging, teams trolling you, uncooperative teams, not bullying but maybe a swf bugging the solo into a build, not using or using a perk they don't like.

It would definitely increase lobby dodging if a Killer sees the perks they dislike on the Survivors they're going to face.

Imagine seeing DS, and you hate DS so much? They'll most likely close the lobby...

Only the survivors see it, not the killer. That would nonsensical.

If Survivors see the Killers perks, they'll probably leave also lmao...

In-general, nobody should see anyones perks. It ruins builds...

It would help/buff up the solo player experience a bit too. Join a lobby, adjust perks accordingly. Could make the pregame lobby chat have more use overall...just discussing who should bring what, etc. I guess you can still do that now...but it would be nice to have that visual representation. I'm a Killer Main, I really personally don't mind this...it would just really benefit the solo player primarily.

  • What kind of buff would you want the killer to receive? This will only help solo quer's.

    It’s far from terrible.

Most just don’t understand its true purpose, and the creative ways it can be used.

  • @Elk Yea it would help with distinguishing certain roles and maybe get others to run perks they normally wouldn't run.

  • @DudeDelicious I understand that it has its purpose such as for a Sawdette but I would only accept it in a swf group where I know what it will be sued for. I remember the last time that I saw someone bring in no mither but its been months for sure, which is good.

    You’ve misunderstood @Elk

They’re emphasising that players might be pressured, bullied, or dodged entirely by other survivors trying to aggressively coerce a player using perks they don’t want to use (or may not even have)

I'd prefer if it wasn't mandatory, but there was a button you could click to show your loadout to everyone else. Basically a streamlined version of typing "hey I'm bringing unbreakable so if I'm slugged you don't have to pick me up" or something, but not forced to avoid megaminds that dodge because they dislike the loadouts of others.

Even then I guess some people would automatically associate not clicking the button with people running "bad perks", like how some people associate private profiles with SWF.
