Landing-from-high sounds when survivor get hook

edited September 2019 in Audio

Platform: PC

Description of the issue: When you get hook or hook a survivor, he will perform the normal hook scream + the grunt he normally make from landing. This is triggering because as a killer you think someone is dropping behind you and that force you to waste time checking the area or all basement closets.

Steps to reproduce (if possible): hooking a survivor

How often does this occur: everytime

I only have this happen to me in the basement and every damn time I search the area for a nonexistent surv, wasting my time and earning the "CAMPPPPPERRRRRRR" tag in the post game chat.

Can confirm, this happens to me every time that I have hooked a survivor recently.

Confirming this sound as well. Happens on every killer, every hook.

I have forced myself to ignore it, but it can definitely mask a survivor in the grass nearby as it plays even if you intentionally run far away from the hook.

I even tested it on hag, where I teleported immediately after a hook, and it still plays on a new side of the map away from the hook.
