No matter what you do they are gonna do too much, nurse's base, and legion as a whole are proof of that with more threads they will cave and nerf everything that was suggested making it more of a chore to play and leave it on the back burner for years to adjust it.

No offense, but you can play the worst killer in the game, not use their power and double pip at that rank. At rank 13 the game is heavily killer favored and survivors are potatoes. You can get a 4K with ease with any killer at around that rank just by walking around. No killer or perk should be balanced around rank 13's and bad players.

Her base kit is fine as is. Two changes need to be made, and that's it. 1. Swap the rarity of fathers glasses and prayer beads; the latter is much stronger and game changing. 2. Make it easier to tell if she's phasing. I've heard people say that there are subtle changes, but I haven't noticed them yet. I like the idea of making her stand still or go silent when phasing. You would know she's using her power, but she could use this against you to mindgame.

What do you think of Spirit having a "tell" for when she is phasing. By that I mean, when she begins phasing there would be an animation cue that observant survivors can look out for that warns she is phasing.

There is a thread on the forums tryin to list counterplay for the spirit. I disagree survivors do not need more counterplay, they have to use what is given already before they cry about nerfs and additional counterplay. People bein lazy is no excuse.

This is one of the few nerf proposals I can get behind. Considering she already has scratch marks and sound in phase, I don't think she should have collision. My only issue is I'm not sure this could be fixed without creating more problems.

Uh... have you played spirit? No. Collision is one of the few ways the Spirit can locate people while phasing... if you don't have a good headset.
There are ways to counter her, you just need to learn. It's the same for Nurse and any killer, really.
Nurse needed her blinks for movement, not just a chase. That was never what anyone besides survivor mains wanted. It was a nerf she didn't deserve. Her addons absolutely needed reworks, but not her base kit. It was really severe and not necessary.
Nah, when I first started learning Spirit, I found her just as difficult... but then I'm on console, so maybe it's mechanical skill as well... : P

She’s very frustrating to go against, but I’m gutting her isn’t the answer.
• She should move grass and corn
• Her footsteps should be as loud as Wraiths’
• Prayer Beads needs a rework or a downside.
That’s really all I can think of. She doesn’t need hardcore nerfs. She’s always going to be an annoying killer to face not much you can do about it though. Guess you gotta bring out your Iron Will and make it a main perk.
She still needs a nerf. You basically have to give up a perk slot for iron will at red ranks or you are a free down to any competent spirit; and there are a lot of them. No killer should be that prominent.
There is basically no counterplay to a good spirit beyond walk when she starts phasing, run iron will, and hope she sucks. That's why it's no fun to play against her.
I don't think this will change anything at all.
1: Good Spirit players use their ears not collision.
2: Collision also lets the survivor know where the Spirit is for that DH play.
3: No collision means window blocking/pallet blocking (sometimes it would have resulted in a hit anyway but not always). Remember when Wraith had no cloak collision? "Race Car" build Wraith was changed for this exact reason!
4: Body-blocking your survivor teammate who was injured won't be as useful.
The only real benefit for survivors with no collision (that I can think of) would be "new Spirit players (who probably aren't great with phasing anyway) and Prayer beads gen grab (but honestly that add-on is going to be changed later anyway).
I feel Spirit is fine (aside from that Prayer add-on) and worry that people are getting on this "collision" train without thinking everything through.
Because you are able to predict where she's phasing. Walk away sometimes. Stand still at some point. There are a few mindgames you can play with her, but some people seem to refuse to do it.
I play her at rank 1 killer and i dont even main her and get 4ks. Spirit isn't hard, shes SO easy to play, standing still and phase walk aren't complex mechanics.
